Hiretec Drum Sander (HT8) and Floor Edger (HT7-2) Package
We are selling a Hiretec floor sanding package. With a drum sander and an edger. The drum sander is an HT8 and the edger is an HT7-2. Both work extremely well and have no problems with them. The drum takes paper that wraps around the roll and is fastened in place by a bar that has two flat head screws set into the drum so they won't hit the floor your sanding. The edger takes a round sanding paper disc that is held in place by a washer and bolt in the middle of the pad, the bolt is set into the pad so it won't touch the floor. Both sanders have a dust collection bag that attaches to the exhaust of the sanders to keep the dust down. We prefer payment in the form of a cashiers check. This is a machine that can't be described as new. But it has just enough wear to save you almost half its cost over new. This machine sells for over $7500. It was used briefly as a gym sander, set up and attached to a ryder. The handle has been extended, but it can be reconfigured for walk-behind sanding. Also, the outrageously powerful 9HP motor is 3-phase. You can use it in situations with only single phase voltage if you use a phase converter. Those are available new for less than $200. The 3-phase motor can be more powerful in the same size housing. Also, the voltage delivery is smoother, more consistent, making for a smoother, balanced motor operation, a key advantage in floor sanding. The BD 12 uses both sanding belts and roll paper. Your choice. Imagine sanding initially with roll paper, then moving to belts for the finer sanding. ... moreAnother great advantage is simply being able to switch, should you be without one or the other.
