This is a 2003 Brush Bandit 254 Chipper with auto feed. It is powered by a 3054 Caterpillar diesel engine. It is rated for a 12-14 inch log but we usually dont chip anything over 6 inches. It is a very powerful machine. It will chip about anything you can get to it. I have owned it for about 3 years and the only thing I ever had to do was replace the water pump a few months ago. It is regularly greased and serviced. This is a very reliable machine. It is in good condition. The tires are about 70% The only reason I am selling this is because I am moving and will no longer be in the tree business. It has a clean and clear KY title. I am selling my 2005 Brush Bandit 189 0HD Chipper so I can by a new one with a tier III engine before they become Tier 4. It's serial number 1922. This c hipper is in excellent con dition and has only 1393 hours on it. For real and not be ca use I replaced the tachometer. It has a Caterpillar Tier II 180 hp 6 cy linder diesel engine. It has mechanic al injec tors which are more affordable to service. I t was a demo that I bought from Martin Implement in Orland Park. I L with about 350 hours on it. I have a record of all th e re gular service it's received. We clean the air filter and grease e ver ything daily. It's rece ived regular oil c ha nges as well as h ydraulic. Air, and fuel filter changes. It has most of the options you could order including the heavy duty chain-driven feed system. Autofeed, oversize d extra wide feed ... morewheels. Hydraulic winch. Wallenstein BX42 Wood Chipper for tractor 3pt (real 4" x 10" capacity)
I am going to sell my Wallenstein BX42 non hydro feed woodchipper. It is in GOOD shape and really not used a whole lot. Maybe 40hrs at the most. It has no problems and is not all beat up. Stored indoors and greased when used. The only thing you will notice is the paint is worn on the shoots from the wood chips going out and the branches going in. It also has some missing paint on the 3pt and frame(some from when it was shipped to me originally) It is not all rusted up or anything. Basically this is good as new and works perfect. All you are doing is saving some money over new(plus no tax or shipping if you are local enough to pick up)because after a few hours use they will look the same! The manufacture lists you need at least 20 hp to run it and at 35hp you should have full capacity. I ran it with 42 HP and if if fit, it chipped! The knives ... moreare in very good shape and have not even been used enough to be flipped yet. I find I don't chip much anymore and really could use the room in the shop so that is why I am selling the chipper. This is a real nice solid unit that should last for many many years! Wood Chipper, Woodchuck Hyroller 14" Chipper 2003
2003 Woodchuck Hyroller 14" chipper. GAS POWERED. Was a Florida chipper until 3 years ago. I will give every detail I know as not to lead misrepresent anything. NEW: Fuel Pump. Battery, Fuel Filter, Oil FIlter, oil change) and Blades. Runs great, starts right up, BUT hates the cold, you have to let it warm up for a few minutes when it gets cold. lights are wired, but with odd 7 pin attachment that used to hook up to my old international that I sold a year or 2 ago, but the worked then( the wiring was not done by me, and I would re do it all, I can take a picture of the connection and show you how it is now, it's just not done properly, but functional) I've never even looked at the brakes on this thing, but I think they're 12" x 2" trailer brakes, and if they are I have a brand new set I'll throw in for you( ... morestill in the box) Tires are mismatched, and so so, but useable. Woodchuck is no longer in business, so you have to go through Altec for any parts you may need. I had me service work done at Vermeer Northeast in Caselton, NY and they never had any issues with it. This chipperr is about 14' long, pintle hitch, and unsure of weight, but I wouldn't tow it with a 1/2 ton, unless it. S a Diesel. My starting price is set to cover what I owe on her. Not trying to make a killing, but as you can search for yourself, others like this are selling for 9,000+. Oh, meter stopped working at 1800 hours.
