Heavy duty chipper with a ford engine. I don't know much about this machine other then it has a ford engine in it and it has no battery. My uncle had it running last year but it has sat and has not been started for a while. I have the manual for it and it lists it as a wood chuck by Vermeer. The engine serial number is 36260f18hr the trailer model number is 2931. This needs some obvious tlc but it worked like a beast when it ran. I am located in westover md. For sale is a 1994 Vermeer 1250BC wood chipper in great running condition. Serial# 1VRC14131R1004902. Powered by a Perkins 2.2L diesel engine that runs great. The machine only has 554 hours. Hydraulic roller feed and hydraulic swing-out feature. The auto feed feature currently doesn't work but only needs a 10amp fuse and fuse cap to work and I am sourcing that currently. All other features work. Clutch engages good and engine maintains RPMs great during chipping. The tires have 75% tread remaining and the machine tows well. I have a Vermeer 625 chipper unknown year. Will chip branches up to 6 inches. Has a 20 hp Honda motor. I have owned for just over one year and use on about 15 jobs and had absolutely 0 problems. I just upgraded and am looking to sell. The previous owner was an older gentleman and he did not use it heavily at all. It does have a little rust and wear and tear however runs and works good as it should. It starts with no problems however I use ether every once in awhile for a quicker start. We only refurbish Vermeer unit and even then we only rebuild BC1800 and BC1400 models as they are by far the best that Vermeer makes. And always in demand. Don't mistake this for one that has simply been painted and stickers applied. We take these units completely apart and do anything and everything to make them as close to new as you can get. Even balancing the drum/blade assembly which by itself is over a $2,000 cost. We manufacture new panels if there is any rust as we have our own complete machine shop. On the last one we refurbished, about 2 months ago, we made a completely new drum assembly in our shop and it balanced better than any factory unit coming right from the factory. Hours you see on the meter are hours we have run ... morethis unit since the rebuild has been completed. Original hours were under 2.000. These usually sell within one week- sometimes within 24 hours of listing. So if you are interested I urge you to act quickly as we have no more units in the pipeline to build and even when we locate one it takes us nearly 2 months to completely refurbish it. Up for sale is this Vermeer BC1250 Wood Chipper. I bought this chipper from a golf course that very rarely used it. This chipper has a Perkins Diesel engine with auto feed and the curb side feature. When I bought the chipper. I drained the hydraulic fluid and replaced it with Castrol Heavy Duty Anti Ware Hydraulic fluid and did an oil change. This is probably the cleanest and lowest hour 1250 out there. Everything works as it should, brakes, lights, etc. These chippers are the last of the mechanical chippers and build like a tank, no computers to worry about replacing. VERMEER 1250 DIESEL 12" WOOD CHIPPER SUPER HEAVY DUTY CHIPPER BODY SWIVELS 90 DE
Vermeer 1250 chipper with perkins 4 cylinder diesel engine. I believe it is an 80 hp engine. Everything works great on the machine and it was just serviced about a month ago with fresh filters and fluids. it needs nothing and you can put it to work tomorrow. none of the cylinders leak. there are 2.705 hours on the working hour meter. Blades are sharp and the autofeed works perfectly. this chipper is a monster and will eat anything you can throw at it. blows chips almost 30' This chipper has a hydraulic swing cylinder to allow you to swivel the feed shoot to allow better loading when you're working on the side of the road. In use you pull up next to the jersey wall on the side of the road and engage the swivel on the chipper which turns the feed shoot approximately ninety degrees to the tow vehicle. In this way you can feed branches ... morewithout having to first stage them on the road. it's an awesome feature and very unique. I made a short video showing the swing cylinder in operation and you can also hear the engine running, it runs very quietly and starts up quickly too. In the video I am bracing the tongue of the chipper with a skid loader so please excuse the bad picture quality. it is much smoother when the chipper is attached to the truck. The ti res are in good condition along with electric brakes which work well but the wiring is broken right now. it uses a pintle hitch to tow. Wiring connector is broken off and you would need to fix the wires to the tail lights and brakes. a new wiring connector is easy to get from any parts store and shouldn't cost you more than $15. it does great towing on the highway at 65 mph all day nice and straight. No wobbles. I require a non refundable deposit of $200 using paypal within24 hoursof the auction ending and the balance must be paid with cash. Certified check or a wire transfer. Vermeer Chipper 1400XL mulcher woodchipper wood chipper
This is a Vermeer 1400XL Chipper. 122 HP. Cat Turbo diesel. I believe it is a 2005 model. The fiberglass hood is gone. It wasn't latched down properly and got caught in the wind going down the road a couple of days ago. I used this chipper daily until buying a newer larger chipper. I bought it about 6 years ago from the original owner and I have put 2000 trouble free hours on it. We did put a new drive belt. Clutch, and throwout bearing in it about 500 hours ago. It was hard starting earlier in the year so my mechanic put an inline fuel pump in it. It starts fine now. Kind of idles strange until it gets warmed up. Acts like maybe a fuel line is sucking air. Runs good at working RPM and chips extremely well. It has autofeed that works fine. Has been a good chipper just don't need it anymore with my bigger chipper. A new factory hood ... moreis around $1000.00. I am sure you could make something cheaper if you wanted or just purchase a new one somewhere. Needs something before it is ran much though. 3300 hours total and other than the missing hood, I would say the condition is average for the amount of hours. I am selling my wood chipper purchased new from Vermeer. It has new clutch this year rollers glides have been replaced this year, Paint is in good shape not bad, if I keep it,I will touch it up by spring,it has some bed liner in places that wear the most, I under coated it twice since owning this machine, runs strong and does not leak any fluids, the wheel well has two holes where we drilled for a vice that are rusting, a plate can be welded there, I have several filters both large and small air filters three hundred dollars worth, also four sets of blades all purchased recently, the wheel gears and shaft were replaced two years ago, has a new bed knife, new rubber boots on the fuel tank, this machine has been maintained by Vermeer if you are looking for a clean machine that has been maintained I have kept up with this machine the right way, ... morethe tires and rims a real nice.
