This is a 1974 jdx8 john deere i picked this up at an auction 3yrs ago I was told it ran and drove by the gentelman who sold it could not run it at that time because the throttle cable was broke. When I got it home we put a lil gas down the plug holes and it did fire and run breifly and thats the last thing I did with it. The sled is in reasonable condtion to make it worth fixing up track is ok skis etc dont know alot since I never really tested anything. Needs a seat cover and windsheild and I have a used throttle cable to provide with sale. It does have the add on backrest in decent shape material is surely on the dry side but its not all ripped up no shipping on this payment do in 7 days pick up in 30 days it is in Mt Cobb Pa just minutes off interstate 84

Antique Cast Iron Tractor Implement Seat, Rustic Farm Garden Industrial vintage
Here is an old cast iron tractor seat that is ready to be a sculpture or trellis in your yard. Garden, barn, or loft. This is an old seat with a wonderful hole pattern that casts beautiful shadows. This one is not marked with a manufacturer's name. But there is a faint"4" on the front of the seat(see 6th photo) This seat has spent much of its life outside so you can feel OK putting it out in the garden. It was rusty when we got it. Though we have used a wire brush to clean off the loose rust. There is pitting where the rust used to be. There is some excess metal in some of the holes from the casting(see 5th photo) There are no breaks or repairs. This seat is 16- 1/2" wide at the front and 1 5" from front to back. An Antique Ellis Keystone Champion Farm Thresher Advertising Thermometer in very good original condition. I would date this piece probably around 1910 or so. The thermometer shows a nice advertisement for the Ellis Champion Wood or Steel Threshers from Ellis Keystone Agricultural Works of Pottstown. PA. The picture is still real nice and clear! It measures 9 1/8" in diameter and the thermometer appears to high by a few degrees and will need some adjustments. A very nice collectible piece to own! Shipping is by Priority Mail.

A John Deere Tractor Trailer Tilt Bed B D G H L LA M MT
Please Note: A very helpful John Deere collector emailed me four scans of his original July 1947 piece of John Deere sales literature for this No. 16 trailer. I have added the two most interesting of the four scans to the end of the photos on this auction. I have also added all four of the scans to my photo site listed below. I have added these scans because I suspect relatively few JD collectors have ever seen one of these very intereseting trailers. Please be sure to check out all 29 of the photos there of this trailer and the four scans of the original Deere literature. Please be sure to check out the other interesting collectible vehicles and items I am currently offering here on eBay. I believe this is a John Deere No.16 tilt bed trailer that was introduced by Deere around 1940 as a heavier duty replacement for the No. 15 trailer that ... moreDeere introduced in 1935 or 1936. This trailer has a single un-sprung axle with dual wheels and four 6.50-16 tires. The tilting deck is just under 96" wide to be legal about 60 years ago and the deck is 13 feet long. The A-frame front hitch extends about 3-1/2 feet forward from the front of the deck. That would make the overall length of this trailer about 16-1/2 feet. The deck is a bit over 2 feet above the ground. Each pair of wheels is covered by a stamped steel plate. These plates clear are there to prvide tire clearance and effectively lower the height of the deck by about 3 inches or so. This trailer has mechanical brakes in each wheel that are actuated by cables that were originally tied to a surge brake type of sliding mechanism that was in the hitch. The inner sliding piece is missing as is the linkage or cable that hooked it to the equalizer mechanisms that are still in place under the wood deck. The original housing that the sliding brake part slid in is still in the front of the hitch. Someone converted the original hitch to a double strap type. This was most likely done at some time to use this trailer behind a tractor rather than a vehicle. The entire A-frame

The Field Marshall emblem is one of the most detailed tractor emblems ever made. We have captured every ounce of detail in these pieces. 1947 Ford 2N Tractor, great running, older restoration
1947 Ford 2N up for sale. Mechanically restored 4-5 years ago by prior owner; he said engine rebuild was $3k. Oil pressure is strong. Tires are virtually new and original-type. I have spent ~$2800(w/ receipts) in maintenance and sorting over the last 3 years. Including a new Exide battery purchased and installed today(4/11/13) All fluids were last changed in mid-2011, with perhaps 2 or 3 hours running time since. This is a front mount distributor engine, still 6V electrics with positive ground. Lights work perfectly. Auction includes spare pair of rear wheels and another 2N back half(see last photo) which has a gear reduction transmission. There's s ome rust through on the tin cowling edges at the back. But this sheet metal is readily available and cheap if you want to replace it. The hydraulics and PTO engagement work perfectly. Three ... moreforward speeds. One reverse. Brakes work fine. The serial number pad on the engine is covered in thick paint. So I can't make out the numbers. The rear axle halves are late-December 1946 castings, so I am listing the tractor as a 1947. These are great little home and hobby farm tractors that will put a smile on your face every time you drive one. The 2N was the"successor" to the Ford 9N. They are simple to run and the 2.0 liter four cylinder flathead gasoline engine is a reliable power unit. These are rated at 88 ft-lb of torque at 1500 rpm and 23 PTO hp(claimed) With a 6.0:1 compression ratio. Aftermarket supply for these tractors is fantastic; you can get virtually any part cheaply. I am selling this 2N because I recently purchased a Ford 801 series diesel which is better suited to my needs. So it's time to let the little 2N go to a new home. 1958 John Deere 630 2-cylinder tractor
This is a 1958 John Deere 630 gas row crop tractor serial# 6302482. The tractor has been sitting where i took these pictures since 2001. And it was driven in and parked, it hasn't been started since. It belonged to my brother in laws father who bought it new and used it on the farm untill he retired. He planned on restoring it but got ill and wasn't able to do the project, thats why the sheet metal has been removed. Now my sister has decided to let it go. It is a complete tractor. Sheet metal not rusted or beat up, new grill screen, and new front tires.Probably needs a tune up Its is not locked up or stuck this is the first year for the 630 this will be a great project for a restoration or put back together and a tune up and use it more pictures avaliable upon request questions call Jay at 309-261-3408

Probably the most practical and versatile antique tractor configuration for current times. This tractor has the rare Sherman Step-Up and Step-Down Combination Transmission. Which upgrades this tractor to 12 forward gears, 3 reverse gears and 3 PTO speeds. Benefits include; standard PTO speed at 1/2 throttle, 1/3 throttle or full throttle; slower gear speeds for heavy work and faster gear speeds for road travel. With a three point hitch and the variety of speeds provided by the upgraded transmission, this tractor has functionality comparable with many modern compact tractors. But unlike modern compact tractors, this one was made in the USA. Original PTO cover included. removed for videos and not shown in photos. 1958 Allis Chalmers bulldozer HD6 for restoration or parts
This HD6 weights 14.000 lbs with blade. It ran until beginning April 2013 when it lost power stalled and wouldn't start while working. It is in working condition except for the engine, which always burnt some oil, but now may need either a minor repair or an overhaul. I really don't need it anymore so I'm not willing to pay to have it diagnosed or to pull the engine and fix it. So I selling as is for vintage parts, but for someone who wants to pull the engine and rebuild it, kits are still available for the tractor for around $1,200. I have the huge parts and repair manual for this tractor. Electric start, pavement tracks, clutches and breaks good. Buyer is responsible to toe it out(400 ft off of road) and haul it. 14,000 on bearing.

1957 John Deere 420W With Factory Reverser, 3 Point Hitch & 5 Speed
1957 John Deere 420W S erial number 101.843 with factory reverser. Tractor st arts ri ght up. Runs. Drives and stops good. Reverser works great! It has the optional 5 speed transmission. PTO& 3 point both work well also. The 3 point is missing the top link. Now for the bad. The axles have been cut back, the front tie rod steering arm has been wel ded( easily replaced) and the rear rims are not perfect. Other then those thing s I could not find anything else wrong with the tractor. Overall its a great little tractor th at runs excellent. There were only 3.961 420W's built in 1957, Very few ever left with a re verser. Most reversers that left the factory were on crawlers not wheel tractors. 1939 John Deere B tractor in VERY good condition and a couple UNIQUE features. Equipped with a rare option gear doubler which doubles all the stock gears when selected. Including Low and High ranges. Equipped with a custom'step-on to ride' attachment on rear. Perfect for giving rides to children. Has a removable custom old fashioned ice-cream maker that powers off the primary pulley. When the built-in clutch starts slipping. The ice-cream is DONE! NEW tires in 2006. You can still see the knobbies on them. Tractor has been stored in climate controlled building for many years. Only used in a few parades. Operation& shop manuals also included. This was my grandfather's tractor. I simply don't get it out enough to show it anymore.
