Nice Farmall 450 LP with Loader and Fast HItch
I bought this tractor because I needed a rear tire that was on it to match another on a tractor I had. The rear tires that are on it now are black. Round and hold air, but that's about it. The rear rims are pretty good though, with no rust around the valve stem holes. The front tires are matching 7.50 x 16 truck tires in good shape, and the front rims are good too. It has a JI Case loader on it with a stout double hay spike on it now, and a small bucket that will go with it. The loader is all hydraulic, not a trip bucket. I have used this tractor to unload hay on a trailer and it worked good. As a matter of fact, it was strong enough to lift and move around an H Farmall that had no wheels or tires on it. Inside the bucket is the top link and the lower links that go in the fast hitch to make it a 3 point. The fast hitch works good and ... moredoes not leak down, even with alot of weight on the drawbar. The engine does not smoke. Well, except where the valve cover leaks oil on the exhaust manifold. Valve cover gasket definitely needs to be replaced. The clutch feels good, the brakes are ok, it shifts through all the gears fine and easy. The engine runs real smooth and starts very easy. It has power steering that works good. Sheet metal is pretty darn straight except a small dent in the grill that is visible in one of the pictures. PTO works good. It has a Torque Amplifier but I cannot tell a difference in the speed when it is pulled back, although it does not slip. Probably needs some kind of adjustment. It does need a battery. I am battery poor and one did not come with the tractor so it will need one. I do have a battery that can be used to load it if you need, but it will not go with it. I have described it to the best of my ability, but please keep in mind that it is a 60 year old tractor and probably will still need a couple of things to get it field ready. This would probably be used for 300. 350, 400, 450, 460, 560 and possibly others. This is an original hook that is in very good condition, showing only minor wear. It measures 22.5" long, and has a factory indent where it would fit into your mounting bracket. There are some remnants of red paint, and the hook end is very good with no damage. Farmall 140 tractor with L306 Woods 6 ft mower and fast hitch
Heres a pretty nice Farmall 140 tractor with nearly new 6 ft Woods mower under it. The deck was installed a few years ago then the fellow passed away and it sat in his shed. I got it out had the head gone thru. Installed new gaskets, installed new clutch assy and rebuilt the starter. The tractor starts and runs and mows very nicely. But I believe the hydraulic pump seals are shot and its getting hydraulic oil into the engine. I just keep the deck down for mowing and it works fine without the hydro lift. Prob and easy fix but its actually to big of a machine for my uses so Im moving onto a new zero turn mower. Machine does everything it should, charges well, lights work, shifts fine, steers great, mows perfectly in second gear. I am located in northeastern pa. Zip 18621. Hunlock Creek. 300 ih ihc farmall tractor straight barn find runs great live pto T/A fast hitch
This was my fathers tractor which was sold to a friend years ago. And I purchased it back from his estate. Tractor has been inside most of its life and it shows, the shifter pin has been welded in such a way that it will not go into 4th and fifth, starts and runs good-no smoke, battery is getting a little weak. I had planned to keep this but I am selling my shop and can bring myself to leave this outside in the weather. tach shows low hours but cannot verify them. Sold as is where is buyer to pickup.
