They were the last of the 730's that John Deere ever made as Deere transferred the production from their U.S. plant to Argentina due to the great demand for some High Crop tractors to work the sugar cane regions down there. There were only 360 made of these 730 High Crops and very few have survived that this is now a 50 year old antique vintage collector tractor. John Deere 1959 730 Gas Row Crop with Factory Square Wide Front! Serial Number is 7319633. We bought this tractor from a Gentleman near Mankato. MN back in 2011. His Uncle bought it when it was 2 years old from the Original Owner, He then bought it from his Uncle and farmed with from the mid 1980s up until we bought it. A Real Fresh off the Farm 730 Tractor. The Tractor Starts and Runs Excellent, It will idle right down to a Very Slow"Pop.Pop.Pop" Sounds Great! Engine is Strong. We have used it for discing and pulling dead tractors around the yard, etc. Float Ride Seat, Upright Airstack, Single Hydraulics. Hydraulics Work Good, it has 15.5x 38 Matched Rear Tires. There is a little hinged panel bolted to the hood that was used to keep the weather off of the distributor. The Power-Steering works like a new car and is very easy to steer but the pump does leak, and since the time we have owned it and used it nearly 2 years, we have only added oil to it once. Brakes Work, Transmission Shifts and Operates in all of the gears and works as it should. The Clutch is probably going to need some new friction discs in it, its getting hard to get the pulley to stop by pulling the clutch lever back, we will try to adjust it and get it in better working order

I cultivated and side dressed 400 lbs of dry nitrogen on corn with this in the last 6 weeks. cultivators have all shovels and shields. Shields are up in photos as last pass thru corn was getting pretty tall. Side dresser drops fertilizer to the right and left of each 36 to 38 inch row and covers it lightly with soil. When you raise the hydraulics. Cultivators raise and fertilizer gear stops turning. The entire mechanism drives off sprockets on the rear axle, through the chain and to the sprockets on the front drive gear. Hoppers will hold 75-100 lbs each. Application rates are adjustable. Paint is fair. Hood tin is decent. Nose tin is bent up. Rims have been repaired ... moreand do not leak. Hour meter and tach work. As I said he restored it 15 years ago. He said the pony motor was rebuilt 8 years ago and smokes a little like normal but he said the clutch brake on it needs to be reset on it. I’ve never started a pony motor but he said there are 2 levers on the left of the dash that are for compress and engage. The trick is you partially engage the left hand lever to start the big motor then. Big motor runs excellent. Hour meter quite working a long time ago but he never bothered checking the tach cable as he just has taken it to shows in recent years. Also a couple other things is you can see the normal dings on the original fenders in back on some of the rear shots. And that is just a shop sticker on the left front side and peels right off. Power-Steering Works, This is a slightly different power-steering system than the Waterloo-Built 730s, and it works well. The Dual Hydraulic System is also different in the fact that both of the Remote Outlets are held in place on a factory bracket on the flywheel side of the tractor. This Standard and ... morethe other Yellow 730 Standard Known to Exist Never Had Fenders from the Factory, it does have a retro-fit cab on it off of who knows what, I would personally just remove the cab if I was going to keep the tractor. It has Very Unique and Correct 34" Rear Wheels and 18.4x34 Tires. Front Wheels are 20" and have 7.50x20 Front Tires. This is what you would expect for an Industrial Use Tractor. It has had a lot of use over the years. Areas of repair that I know it will need is the transmission will currently only operate in 4th gear. It will shift into all of the gears fine, but any other gear if you put it in gear and push the clutch ahead, it wont move, if you put it in 4th gear and push the clutch ahead it moves fine. The Pivot Plate has been welded. The Decompression Pedal has been welded but functions properly. Front Hubs have some of the wheel bolt threads stripped as I see nuts on the backside of the bolts. It does have the Correct Black and Chrome Hood Emblems Still in Place. It appears the head has had some work done on it recently as it is bare metal and not painted. The Tinwork is Fair, Certainly repairable, I wouldn't replace it unless you already had some bet

Up for auction I have a three bottom hydraulic lift plow. It is all compete minus a cylinder. All of the bottoms appear to be in ok condition but I did notice that the second bottom will wed a new shin. The rear rim is junk so it will need to be replaced. The front rims are the original round spoke rims in good condition. The colters are there and not missing. All in all it's a decent old plow. Throw a tire on it. It will sell to the highest or fastest bidder. 1958 is the last year the 720 model John Deere. It's called the black dash as the last year of the 720 had 3-4 mechanical improvements over the earlier 720 models in addition to having a black dash so that is why they are referred to as that as most die-hard John Deere enthusiasts know. It is one of the few factory John Deere 720 LP tractors made and one of the few survivors of the last 50 + years on this antique collector classic. This 1958 John Deere 720 has Power Steering and 3-Point as you can see and it does run good with no smoke or engine or transmission noises. But we couldn't get it started for a video. This is a rare John Deere as there were only 345 total made. The tractor was restored about 3 years ago and original John Deere Paint with hardener was used. It has the original John Deere look and not a shinny auto paint, it does as you can see in the pictures look like it just came off the assembly line. The tractor has new 18.4-30 rear tires and decent front on it. The tractor also has the rare 3-Point option for a standard but does not come with a top-link. Tractor has float ride seat with the arm rests. There is a minor gas leak as it will slowly leak out about 10% over the course of a month and a half. Up for auction I have a john deere three bottom trip plow. I believe it to be a model 55 but I am not a plow expert so I am not sure. The plow wS used two years and did a great job. It did a nice clean even job. We pulled it with our john deere G and it did great. The bottoms are in good shape and aren't worn through anywhere like they usually are. They still have a lot of life left in them. The counters are still in good shape aswell and all three are there. It had the correct and origin around sole rims that are in good shape. It also has the rare and hard to find steel tail wheel. They are most often a rubber tired tailwheel. I didn't see any breaks or welds on the plow anywhere. Up for auction I have a 1955 john deere 70 diesel standard. Serial number: 7033257. The tractor runs excellent. The pony motor hasn't ran in a few years so we just pull started it. It starts up within the first 10 feet. The motor has great power and doesnt use oil or have blue or white smoke. The pony motor turns over but will need a set of pints and a carb kit before it will run. The clutch works good and it shifts into all of the gears as it should. The brakes work aswell. The tractor has power steering and hydraulics. The hood and nose cone are in great shape and would clean up nicely. The rear fenders are in solid shape. The right had fender does have some denting on the bottom of it. Other then that both fenders are in great shape. The original dust shields that extend off the platform are still on the tractor and are in good shape. ... moreAll of the rims are in good shape and all of the tires hold air and don't leak. 1960 model John Deere 730 Diesel Electric Start Standard. Serial# 7323519. This is a nice original 2 cylinder. It's the direct start electric which works awesome. This tractor starts great even in the coldest weather. It is running in all the photos. It has just a little wisp of smoke when it idles(as do our other diesels) Matter of fact I jumped on it today and it fired right up. It's been since last August we've run it! It holds good oil pressure and sounds tough. I changed the oil this weekend, and it still came out clean after sitting for six months. Anti freeze is still up too. The power steering is smooth. Tranny is quiet and so is the gearing. It's has new gauges, steering wheel and pto shield assembly.
