1950s Farmall Super C - 2 Row - One Qwner
This is an old work horse looking for a new home. It is set up for a backhoe and front end loader(both of which have been removed and reallocated) It is on a high land farm in northeast TX. It is strong with very little rust. Someone looking for parts has"borrowed" part of the lift system and taken off the front tire but left it there. It was driven to this spot and parked when the owner was no longer able to use it(10- 12 years ago at most) I do not think it is frozen up but did not drag it or try to turn it over. The oil stick shows oil and water- like due to broken muffler. I am selling these tractors and their equipment for friends and going by their input for condition beyond the obvious. Refurbished 1948 Farmall Super A tractor-ready to work-no reserve
1948 Farmall Super A Tractor S/N:262119 I’m a 75 year old retired farmer and I restore farm equipment to keep me busy—I have many satisfied customers. So check my feedback. This tractor is not a collection or show tractor. As it has been converted to 12volts and the sheet metal has some discrepancies. I refurbished this to be a working tractor that will give many more years of reliable service. If you want a collector’s Super A, I normally have one in process, so let me know if you are interested. A fully restored collector’s tractor requires thousands of more dollars and hundreds of more hours. I split the tractor at the front to change the front crankshaft seal. Inspect the timing gears, and rebuild the steering output. I split the tractor at the center to change the rear crankshaft seal and inspect the clutch and throw-out bearing, which ... moreare in good condition. I did not have to remove the head as the compression on all 4 cylinders was 170 psi. And it runs well with no smoking. The pan was removed to for cleaning, to inspect the oil pump, and to replace the gasket. The radiator was serviced by a professional shop. The fuel tank was removed for cleaning and painting. The carburetor has a new float needle and seat. And a new fuel line and sediment filter were installed. The ignition system was converted to 12 volts and is all new with new plugs. Coil, wires, points, condenser, rotor, and distributor cap. A new 12v battery was installed. I installed a new seat cover. New oil pressure gauge, and new fan and generator belts. New British made BKT tires. With tubes, were installed: 9.5-24 in the rear and 5.00-15 in the front. The started and generator were both rebuilt by a professional shop. With new brushes and new bearings. The generator armature was replaced with a new one and a 12 volt voltage regulator was installed. The headlights were converted to 12 volt sealed beams and a new rear work light was installed. This lighting system is far superior for night work than the original 6 volt bulb and reflector units.

This is an antique Farmall Super C just out of a private collection that has recently been completely restored from the ground up and the previous collector that did the restoration has done many tractors and the guy always does an above average job on all of them I have ever seen him do. The tractor also runs great and starts right up. This tractor also has new tires. Original battery cover, original lights, flat pulley, and an original reproduction seat. I am selling this snoot for an older farmer friend of mine. I had it listed earlier on here as a Farmall M snoot. That's what he told me& I know he had a M. I've been told it may be for a 460 or 560 instead. I honestly do not know. I am just selling it as a Farmall Super Snoot from M&W. It is in great condition for its age. It is not perfect. Don't expect that. The side shields are not included, they are gone. I believe I can ship this UPS but it would be quite costly just because of its size. Would prefer local pick up.
