It features the Fordson Major E1ADDN tractor and is entitled'A Major Decision' as the farmer is clearly discussing the merits of this model with the salesman. This dates to 1994 and was produced in a limited edition of only 1500 of which this is number 1032. The model has advertising boards reading'Fordson Tractors& Implements' and'Introducing the New Fordson Major' The model is in excellent condition throughout though on very close inspection there has been some minor repair to a damaged steering wheel. This has been repainted. As has a small patch under the wheel on the engine hood(see photo) It comes with its wooden plinth and original label is fully signed with the limited edition number. The model itself measures about 12 inches(30.5 cm) long and 5 inches(13 cm) high(without the plinth) The plinth measures 13.25 inches(34 cm) long and just under 1 inch(2.25 cm) deep. Probably the most practical and versatile antique tractor configuration for current times. This tractor has the rare Sherman Step-Up and Step-Down Combination Transmission. Which upgrades this tractor to 12 forward gears, 3 reverse gears and 3 PTO speeds. Benefits include; standard PTO speed at 1/2 throttle, 1/3 throttle or full throttle; slower gear speeds for heavy work and faster gear speeds for road travel. With a three point hitch and the variety of speeds provided by the upgraded transmission, this tractor has functionality comparable with many modern compact tractors. But unlike modern compact tractors, this one was made in the USA. Original PTO cover included. removed for videos and not shown in photos. AULTMAN TAYLOR 15-30 Antique Tractor RARE
Aultman Taylor 15-30 Tractor Serial no. 3243. Very original 15-30 with original climax engine. Restored in the early 1980's and still shows good. All gearing looks excellent. Tractor used mostly for belt work in its former working life. Rubber added to steel wheels and lugs go with it. Approximate 6 foot drive wheels and 37" front wheels. Sheet metal and riveting is original and nice condition. No rusting or cancer. Engine turns over easily and comes up strong on compression. This tractor was last run about 5 years ago and will need to be serviced but won't take much to get her running. The radiator has a leak that will need to be fixed and maybe the carb cleaned. I have driven this tractor and it is a pleasure to operate. Steers very nice for a larger tractor. 1923 FORDSON"F" EARLY FORD) VINTAGE FARM TRACTOR(RARE! This is a nice rare 1923 Fordson"F" early Ford Motor Company) vintage farm tractor. It came from the estate of a farm tractor collector and was the oldest tractor in his collection. It appears to have had an older restoration at one time and could use a freshen up paint job. This was a tractor that the previous owner drove around and took to shows and parades. It is in overall very good condtion especially for being 90 years old! The tractor has a Holley model 280 vaporizer(basically a carburetor) and a rare TACO(Tractor Appliance Company) governor/spark adjuster. The previous owner installed his own version of a"hot shot" style battery ignition assist to ease in starting the tractor. As was a common and good practice for these early Fordson tractors the ... morecoils were removed when the tractor was not being used and stored in a extra dry location. Unfortunately they were also misplaced along the way. New aftermarket and rebuilt Ford coils are readily available. Though the tractor hasn't been started in a while the engine turns free and appears to be in complete running order aside from needing some coils and if you wanted a 6-volt battery for"hot shot" style battery ignition assist. It has gasoline in the tank now so It appears the tractor has already had the gasoline conversion done to the vaporizer so it no longer has to be run on kerosene as the Fordson"F" tractors originally had. It appears that the manifold has one crack on the intake portion and one crack on the exhaust portion that have both been covered or patched and then clamped over. New aftermarket manifolds are available if you see the need to replace it. The tractor has had an expensive and nicely done air tire conversion done to the wheels that uses standard tractor tires on both the front and the rear. The 1 means it was built after 1963(serial# lists it as a 1962) Next two are 10 and the indicate it is a Row Crop. The last 1 tells us that is has a 4 speed with a regular PTO. The 5 shows it is a factory wide front end. The letter L on the end says it's engine runs on Propane. So it is a factory LP tractor. As a production note the 4 Cylinder(1962- 1965) Ford 4000 series tractors were nearly identical to the earlier 801 and 901 series tractors with some improvements and updates over those older models. 1958 Ford hay baler rare small 150 vintage antique Fordson original tractor WOW
Here is a very rare very original 1958 Ford hay baler. It is the smaller 150. I hear that the larger 250 was much more common. I bought it because I was so impressed with its original great condition. The guy I bought it from used it on a regular basis up untill a couple years ago. He used it for many many years and said it never sat out a night and I have kept it inside since I bought a year ago. I am a white collar guy and just don't have time to play with it so it needs to go to a new home. I have pulled it on the road a lot and it rolls along just fine. I have never baled with it in the field but we fed it with a fork in front of the barn and it worked OK but not perfect. It may bale great if it was used like normal as the guy I bought it from said it always worked great after the first bale. Thanks for considering.

1954 Rare CASE SS Model Orchard Tractor
This is an extremely rare 1954 Case SS Model(or Model S Special) Orchard Tractor. This tractor is one of only fifty ever produced. The serial number for this particular tractor is: 8041663. This tractor was built June 16th. 1954. The following is quoted from an article that appeared in"Old Abes Newsletter" by Tom Peeper regarding the SS Model. The Case SS grew out of an idea to help orange growers move picked oranges out of their groves to semi trucks waiting at the edges of the fields. These tractors were shipped from Racine with a Wagner front end loader and crankshaft driven hydraulic pump. Based on an industrial SI tractor. These tractors also had Eagle Hitch, SI type flat grill and heavy cast rear wheels that bolted to the standard rear hubs. It is) recalled that there were about 55 SS units built and shipped to Florida. Pounds(Motor ... moreCompany) fabricated a lot of orchard equipment in their shop back then and they fabricated baskets that fit the special front and rear pickup arms of the SS Models to haul oranges. These baskets were V-Shaped with knobs on the sides to fit the lift arms. Because of their slow speed, the SS tractors were eventually replaced with old dump trucks, because they could move faster, shift on the go and carry big loads. Information was gathered from Case Archives& Pounds Motor Company. We do also have the build sheets from Case with Serial Numbers matching for this tractor. All SS Models have 8XXXXXX serial numbers. Up for auction a World War 2 Steel Wheel 1944 Ford Model 2N. Serial Number 9N151675. This Ford has a in-line four cylinder gas engine. A three speed transmission, and a Ferguson three-point hitch system. The hand crank hole still exists on this tractor but it has been converted. This Ford has been barn kept at the famous Centennial Ranch in Colorado for years. It was purchased from its original owner in Julesburg. Colorado where it was kept at Kontny's Farmers Grain. The Julesburg Advocate wrote a piece on the Ford tractor when it sold years ago. We have not driven the tractor for a couple years but it ran great last time we operated it. This tractor is a good running tractor that would make a nice restoration project. The tractor starts and runs very well and all the gears are working out fine. There is a gas leak on the on/off valve but when the gas is off the leak stops so the value should easily be replaced. The tractor comes with the 3-Point less top link and has its draw bar on back and working PTO too as you can see. As you can see in the pictures. It is missing the nose cone, but we have seen some 420 correct nose cones on eBay for a very reasonable price in the $300 range and ... morewe know of a real decent one needing not really any work except painting for $450 that we can get for the winning bidder or buyer. The rest of the sheet metal is in good condition. All of the gauges are working and the tractor comes with the new battery that is pictured. As you can also see in the pictures. When the tractor is running it has very good oil pressure and runs very strong. The rear tires are in very nice tread shape in the around 90% with just a little slight weather checking on the sides you can see a little of in picture 7. The fronts are pretty weather cracked but hold air fine. The rear rims were filled at one point as you can see and the valve stems are a little rusty so will need sandblasting if painting with some inhibitor put on them and they do not leak any air. This 420-T LP is an easy restoration project as the only thing missing is the battery cover and nose cone. With some easy sand blasting and quick paint job you are sure to have the best T LP at the shows. For price comparison a 420-T LP not restored sold on eBay this summer with no tag at $4.900. This is a rare John Deere as there were only 345 total made. The tractor was restored about 3 years ago and original John Deere Paint with hardener was used. It has the original John Deere look and not a shinny auto paint, it does as you can see in the pictures look like it just came off the assembly line. The tractor has new 18.4-30 rear tires and decent front on it. The tractor also has the rare 3-Point option for a standard but does not come with a top-link. Tractor has float ride seat with the arm rests. There is a minor gas leak as it will slowly leak out about 10% over the course of a month and a half. This tractor was just restored from the ground up. Everything has been gone through and everything is 100% This tractor has around $4,000 worth of Craig sheet metal on it and over $13,000 in restoration. Nothing was over looked during the restoration and was either rebuilt or replaced with JD parts. This tractor was shipped to Tampa. FL in 1959 and it is still there! It came from the factory with Power Steering but the previous owners family said that it had gone out many years ago and they just took it off and capped it off as it was a non-power steering tractor. We have the Two-Cylinder document that shows that and will send it with the tractor. As you can see in the video it is running ... morevery well and there are no mechanical issues with the tractor. Ford Funk 8N Conversion 6 cylinder w/ Sherman extremely rare antique tractor!!!
I bought this rare tractor with full intention to restore it and enter it into tractor shows and pulling contests but realize that I have too many things going on at the moment. I bought this tractor from an older gentleman that owned a sawmill and used it for hauling logs out of the woods. It has a 226? Ford Industrial Flathead 6 cylinder engine that was part of the Ford Funk Conversion Program along with parts from an 2n. 8n, and 9n to make a“Super Tractor” These type tractors were converted between 1948-51and were a dealer installed or Funk product. It also has what I believe is the Sherman transmission which gives this tractor a three more forward gears and another reverse gear. This is NOT a machine that was put together by a hobbyist. These unique tractors bring $6000 to $7000 restored. There are a couple of companies selling conversions ... morekits for just under $1000 but this is original with original parts. The good: I installed a brand new $300 offset drive starter(I have the receipt) because it didn’t have a starter when I bought it. Found out that the starters have to be“matched and machined” because when they were converted using a ford truck flywheel or the tractor flywheel. Turns over great and normally without abnormal noise. Tires have good tread but are cracked. Goodyear 14-26 calcium-filled on the back and Goodyear 6.00-16 on the front. Rims look to be in good shape and tires hold air. Sheet metal hood. Grille, and sides are what I consider great shape and very workable. I do not see any holes or large dents, just the usual dings and light surface rust. Light sanding and paint should make it look a whole lot better. Has the shifter arm for what he told me was a High-Low transmission that gives the machine an extra 3 forward and one reverse. These Sherman type transmissions sell easily for $300 to collectors everywhere. The ultra-rare 6 cylinder breather over the carburetor is still intact. The bad: Not getting spark to the plugs. RARE 1962 FORD COUNTY SUPER 6 FOUR WHEEL DRIVE TRACTOR COMPLETLY RESTORED
1962 Ford County Super 6 4WD Tractor Only 30 Hours Since Complete Restoration Ford 6 Cylinder 5.4L 98 HP Diesel Engine Manual Transmission with 6 Forward. 3 Reverse Separate Drive Shaft to All 4 Wheels New 16.9 x 30 Tires on All 4 Corners Double Wheel Weights on All 4 Corners 3 Point plus Swinging Drawbar Restored to"As New" Condition The Latterly County Company in England began manufacturing equal wheeled 4WD tractors in 1961. The first tractors were based on a Fordson Supermajor and badged the Super Four. The drive to the front wheels was via twin shafts which allowed the standard differential to work on all 4 wheels. The company imported Ford tractors without the axles and wheels and then added their unique four wheel drive system. All 4 wheels drive from the common rear differential and individual drive shafts attach near each ... morerear wheel to drive the corresponding front wheel on that side. Hydraulic power steering turns the front wheels although the turning radius is about 30 feet. In 1962. A 6 cylinder 98 horsepower tractor was introduced and badged the Super Six. It used the Ford 590 engine and produced 98 bhp. These County tractors soon built a reputation for their unrivalled traction and stability, with many farmers buying them specifically for hillside work. This Super 6 has been completely restored to factory specifications. Everything is new or reconditioned including the engine.
