Vermeer SC252 Stump Grinder With Trailer 27 HP Kohler Approx 500 Hours
Up for sale is a Vermeer Stump Grinder SC252 model with 27 HP Kohler engine. The hour meter reads 1238. But the thing was left on until the battery went dead. You can tell by the condition that is has only approx. 500 hours. The automatic sweep is currently not working. I am going to try and fix that as soon as I find a wiring diagram and figure out what the previous owner did to it. All the hydraulics work and has new fluid. The four tires are in excellent condition. I just changed the oil in the engine using Mobil 1 synthetic. This has the 4 wheels which you can lock into place to make it 4WD. The unit has been painted by the previous owner to match his company's colors. The trailer is dented at the back, but I am having that repaired as well. The trailer has new tires, plus a spare and new led lights and wiring harness. The teeth are ... moreworn. But still do the job. I will be ordering new teeth for it as well, depending on how soon it sells. I may be willing to trade as well as selling for cash. The grinder is located in Clarksville. TN zip 37040. FOR SALE: 2004 or 2005 Vermeer SC252 Gas Powered Stump Grinder with custom trailer that came with the grinder and built by Vermeer for the SC252. I was offered $2.500.00 for just the trailer. This piece of equipment is just one of several that came from a family farm and was only used by family members. There are only 221 hours on this unit and I put more than half of them on it. You can see from the pictures that even two tires still have the little rubber nubs still in them. This is a two wheel drive unit and can easily roll up over rocks, curbs and just about any obstacle to get to your job and fits through a 36 inch gate opening. This unit has been professionally maintained and greased before every time it was used and has been stored inside, dry, since it was bought new in 2005. It has less than 100hrs on it. the unit itself has been run for 2700 hrs but that does not reflect the hrs on the engine. unit has good tires and belts. doesn't need mechanical repair and is ready to work. Recently had tires. Belts, and clutch put on it. does have some cosmetic issues but it does not affect the ability for the machine to work at all. The cover on the machine doesn't stay shut so it has a bungee cord to hold it closed. trailer is a Vermeer from 1998 but was reinspected and passed all standards in 2008. This is a great running and operating 2011 Vermeer SC252 stump grinder with hydraulic steering option. Teeth are in good condition and are about 70% and do not need replaced. Teeth are Yellow Jacket brand from Vermeer. Presence system works just as it should and makes for safe operation. Hydraulic steering makes is easier to move and steer machine than the three wheel models. Engine is a Kohler 27hp that runs excellent and starts right up. 2010 Vermeer SC252 Stump Grinder Stump Cutter only 398 hours ready to work!
This is an excellent running/ operating stump grinder with Auto Sweep and hydraulic drive for easy maneuverability Kohler 25hp gas engine is in perfect condition and runs excellent as it should with only 398 hours. Machine is tight and ready to work. Machine has been well maintained and no signs of abuse at all. Teeth are Yellow Jacket teeth and are in about 80% condition. So they have a lot of life left.
