This grinder has a 60hp turbo charged CAT motor that has only two hours on it after being rebuilt by Vermeer technicians. This machine will go through a 36 inch gate and handle the biggest of stumps with it's yellow jacket teeth. 110 hp Vermeer stump grinder SC 1102A
Good machine. Selling due to my bad health. Runs like a new one, nothing wrong with it. Money maker. I changed pintle hitch to a 2 in ball hitch, reduces slop while cutting. Questions call Ed@ 936-275-3435. Heavy machine, specs say approx. 6,000 lbs. This machine is no longer made by Vermeer. Comperable machine, with this 110-hp drive train is on tracks and sells new for around $88,000. This machine has seen only light duty with 600 hrs. on new motor that was replaced by a Vermeer dealer. It has been well maintained with all scheduled maintenance done. It comes with operator's and shop manuals, and 180 sharp yellow-jacket teeth, worth $2,000. I've been in the stump business for 25 yrs. owned 6 different models and this is the best running, least maintenance machine by far, that I've ever run.

Vermeer 630B Stump Grinder Wisconsin Gas Engine Runs / Project
2001 Vermeer 630B stump grinder. Wisconsin 4 cylinder gas engine that runs good. Serial# 1VRC11149M1001682 We were told that machine cut fine last time it was used. I bought it to use on a couple of stumps, but I'm having trouble getting the wheel to engage. It is probably because I'm not familiar with this unit. Hydraulics work but fron ram is leaking at seal. It has a 2 5/16 bull nose hitch but is sticky from sitting. I noticed a couple of repair welds, we were told that charging system is not working properly. Battery does hold a charge, sometimes you have to push starter button a few times before starter engages and fires engine. Frame tongue needs repair by pin, doesn't effect use. I have a nicer Vermeer SC752 stump grinder that is currently not working because it threw a rod through the block. I own a tree business and have no time to fix this or work on it. It has been garage kept since. Everything but the motor on this machine such as the hydraulic pumps. Cylinders, and lines are all in good working condition. The issue is the motor.
