This chipper starts right up and runs great very quiet just a nice hummmm from the engine which was rebuilt 2 years ago(not the bottom end just head work and rings valves needed work so garge did the what they could while apart) Clutch is 2 years old along with drive belts. This is 1 of 2 spare chippers I dont need 2 spare chippers so its time for 1 to go. Vermeer Wood Chuck Wood Chipper
Heavy duty chipper with a ford engine. I don't know much about this machine other then it has a ford engine in it and it has no battery. My uncle had it running last year but it has sat and has not been started for a while. I have the manual for it and it lists it as a wood chuck by Vermeer. The engine serial number is 36260f18hr the trailer model number is 2931. This needs some obvious tlc but it worked like a beast when it ran. I am located in westover md. Up for sale is my 2003 Wood Chuck WC-17. 12" Disk Chipper. It is in great shape and runs like a top. I just had it painted and it's ready to go. This is a self feeder, meaning it takes the wood/brush slowly instead of"whipping" you like the old drum style chippers. This machine belonged to a local fleet here in the Knoxville area and was well maintained it's entire life. Wood Chuck Diesel Wood Chipper 1988
This is a 1988 Wood Chuck Wood Chipper. It does have a 4 cylinder Onan Deere Diesel Engine. This unit has not been operated in about 3 years but was operating when stored. The engine will start and run for about a minute. It does sound good. There is a fuel problem either the seperator/filter and/or fuel pump. The tires must be replaced before using. It needs a battery and gone thru for any other issues. That is all that is known about the unit. Please ask questions and will reply soonest. This is a local pick up only. I do have the ability to load on a trailer. I do reserve the right to end the auction early as it is up for sale locally.
