This grinder has a 60hp turbo charged CAT motor that has only two hours on it after being rebuilt by Vermeer technicians. This machine will go through a 36 inch gate and handle the biggest of stumps with it's yellow jacket teeth. Good machine. Selling due to my bad health. Runs like a new one, nothing wrong with it. Money maker. I changed pintle hitch to a 2 in ball hitch, reduces slop while cutting. Questions call Ed@ 936-275-3435. Heavy machine, specs say approx. 6,000 lbs. This machine is no longer made by Vermeer. Comperable machine, with this 110-hp drive train is on tracks and sells new for around $88,000. This machine has seen only light duty with 600 hrs. on new motor that was replaced by a Vermeer dealer. It has been well maintained with all scheduled maintenance done. It comes with operator's and shop manuals, and 180 sharp yellow-jacket teeth, worth $2,000. I've been in the stump business for 25 yrs. owned 6 different models and this is the best running, least maintenance machine by far, that I've ever run.

Vermeer 630B Stump Grinder Wisconsin Gas Engine Runs / Project
2001 Vermeer 630B stump grinder. Wisconsin 4 cylinder gas engine that runs good. Serial# 1VRC11149M1001682 We were told that machine cut fine last time it was used. I bought it to use on a couple of stumps, but I'm having trouble getting the wheel to engage. It is probably because I'm not familiar with this unit. Hydraulics work but fron ram is leaking at seal. It has a 2 5/16 bull nose hitch but is sticky from sitting. I noticed a couple of repair welds, we were told that charging system is not working properly. Battery does hold a charge, sometimes you have to push starter button a few times before starter engages and fires engine. Frame tongue needs repair by pin, doesn't effect use. Please inspect this machine in person before considering buying. It is a project that needs attention or repairs before use so do not buy it unless ... moreyou understand that. Up for sale is a Vermeer Stump Grinder SC252 model with 27 HP Kohler engine. The hour meter reads 1238. But the thing was left on until the battery went dead. You can tell by the condition that is has only approx. 500 hours. The automatic sweep is currently not working. I am going to try and fix that as soon as I find a wiring diagram and figure out what the previous owner did to it. All the hydraulics work and has new fluid. The four tires are in excellent condition. I just changed the oil in the engine using Mobil 1 synthetic. This has the 4 wheels which you can lock into place to make it 4WD. The unit has been painted by the previous owner to match his company's colors. The trailer is dented at the back, but I am having that repaired as well. The trailer has new tires, plus a spare and new led lights and wiring harness. The teeth are ... moreworn. But still do the job. 2005 Vermeer SC252 Gas Powered Stump Grinder
FOR SALE: 2004 or 2005 Vermeer SC252 Gas Powered Stump Grinder with custom trailer that came with the grinder and built by Vermeer for the SC252. I was offered $2.500.00 for just the trailer. This piece of equipment is just one of several that came from a family farm and was only used by family members. There are only 221 hours on this unit and I put more than half of them on it. You can see from the pictures that even two tires still have the little rubber nubs still in them. This is a two wheel drive unit and can easily roll up over rocks, curbs and just about any obstacle to get to your job and fits through a 36 inch gate opening. 2007 Vermeer SC252 Stump Grinder w/ 2014 Kohler Engine less than 100hrs! # below
For sale is a 2007 Vermeer SC252 stump grinder. This is a great unit and piece of equipment. a new Kohler command 27hp engine with a chip to make it run at 30hp. it was installed a few months ago. It has less than 100hrs on it. the unit itself has been run for 2700 hrs but that does not reflect the hrs on the engine. unit has good tires and belts. doesn't need mechanical repair and is ready to work. Recently had tires. Belts, and clutch put on it. does have some cosmetic issues but it does not affect the ability for the machine to work at all. The cover on the machine doesn't stay shut so it has a bungee cord to hold it closed. trailer is a Vermeer from 1998 but was reinspected and passed all standards in 2008. I do not have paperwork on grinder or trailer just bill of sale. comes with trailer and jack. located in Atlanta Ga for pick ... moreup only. Check out the video I made of the stump grinder working* I have owned this stump grinder almost 3 years and have only put 70hrs on a new $2.000(approximately) engine, I think all new belts and new hour meter. It was used very little in my small rental business that's the only reason I'm selling it, need to purchase something that rents more often. Also will come with approximately another set of yellow jacket teeth, some new some used. The teeth that are on it now, one side is very good and ready to use. One small thing as you can see in the video I had repairs done to the door hinges, the door opens and shuts perfect. The machine runs and works just like its supposed to, buy with confidence.
