This unit is extremely heavy-duty when compared to the many"economy" PTO chippers on the market. Mechanically it works perfectly. It has a 13" cutter head and will handle 6-7" branches or up to 11-1/2" slab wood. It weighs about 1100 lbs. This unit operates on a 540 PTO setup and will work on 25-100 HP tractors. Great Wood Chipper. Runs perfect. Was just tuned up by our mechanic to ready it for sale. This machine has been maintenanced regularly and is ready to go to work. Woodchuck chipper model 16A kubota diesel needs work
You are looking at a woodchuck 16a wood chipper. I bought this in a lot of equipment from a utility company. It has a Kubota diesel turbo engine that is stuck. I was told by them that they thought the engine stuck while sitting outside. It was painted 3 years ago and sat outside and never got used. I put a pipe wrench on the shaft to verify it is stuck! I have no idea whats wrong other than what I was told. The rest of it is in good condition. If you have a motor or the knowledge to work on this one. It would be a good machine. Eeger Beaver Model 100 Chipper - 12" capacity - 75hp Ford
This is s good working 75 horsepower gasoline powered(Ford 2.3) mid sized commercial chipper- Eeger Beaver Model 100 We did tune up. Paint, replaced the tachometer with new digital hour meter and tach and tested unit. Blades are original and don't even need sharpening- so we think this unit was a low hour unit- no hour meter on unit. Ex City works so we think they parked it because it was not powerful enough. This gas engine at 75 hp will chip 8" material but it cannot handle large material without bogging down and recovering. Great for small to medium sized landscape company or large property owner and less expensive than smaller portable units. The best part is the forward.
