They did come from a estate sale so before wearing please bring them to your jeweler and have them buffed clean. They seem to have not much wear with minor scratching on the clasp but not much. This is what appears to be an unused grandfather clock movement. I bought it at the estate auction of a man who had been a clock maker/repairman for many years. So there were all kinds of clock repair tools, gears, etc. in open boxes. This is a Franz Hermle model 451-050H 94 cm. I know next to nothing about clock movements, so I took lots of photos from different angles so knowledgeable clock makers can determine what, if any, parts are missing or in less than new condition. I looked at other ebay listings for this same model; the ones I found that were listed as new, seemed to have all the same parts in the same places as this one does, except that on this one a few of the little chime striking hammers are not perfectly aligned- some droop forward a little more than others. There is a little fine dust on the body of the movement. But no ... morerust, broken, bent, or dented areas that I am able to see. I will ship internationally. Tell me your location. Also Chimes on each quarter hour and strikes the full hour. This is a eight-day chain style movement. Made in West-Germany. Included is: The Movement, 3)Chains, Suspension-Spring, Pendulum-Hanger and an Original-Box! I was very fortunate finding this very rare treasure.
