vintage fairbanks cast iron and brass scales in grams weight unknown use
up for auction is a small fairbanks scales. It is made of cast iron with a nickle plated brass beam and brass weights there is some nickle worn off. the base is 3 1/2 inches wide by 4 1/2 inches long. it is 4 1/2 inches tall to the top of the 2 1/2 inch pan that has four, 1 inch tall pieces of wire soldered to it. the beam is 8 inches long and is marked in graduations of 0, 3, 41/2, 9, and 18 grams on both sides. there is light rust on the underside but it appears to be complete and works. thanks for looking and good luck.

18 20 25 hp Evinrude Johnson OMC Outboard Lower Unit Gear Case Short Shaft
This is a lower unit removed from a 1969 18 hp Evinrude outboard. The splines of the drive shaft appear to have some wear to them. It still seemed to seat properly. The prop shaft appears to be in good condition. The case shows normal wear but is in pretty good shape for the age of it. This should work for other 18. 20, and 25 hp Evinrude Johnson outboard models from the mid 60's through early 70's. Please let me know if you have any questions. Please note: Forwa rd. Reverse and shi ft Dog gears are no good. However the pinion gear appears to have norma l w ear no damage. I am selling this cheap to get it out of my garage.

Pages are about 1 inch thick(excluding the binder) Weight about 3 pounds. A great addition for anyone who collects. Works on, or owns old Poulan chainsaws. Nice overall condition with wear and aging to some pages. Might be a few small faults, maybe some wrinkles but overall totally sound. Here is a really great. Very heavy rotating set of wheels, or discs on bearings with hardened grinding teeth on each wheel. I was told that this was used in a very old mill to debark logs. This is a very serious, super well built, heavy duty piece of machinery that I understand rotated at a fast speed. When the hardened teeth.lots of them, came into contact with the bark on a log, or anything else, it violently ripped it off. This would make a great piece of yard art as is, or in combination with other pieces. How about a kinetic mobile? On end it would be a VERY heavy-duty and impressive hanger for jewelry, shop tools, etc. If you had to buy the hardened teeth, bearings and metal in this beast, not to mention the work in welding it together, it would cost many times what my minimum bid is. I am not sure how much it weighs, but I can roll ... moreit around and lift one end off of the ground.just barely. You could also tow it behind your tractor to cultivate your garden or something. It does have an area for a hitch, and like I mentioned earlier, bearings, so it rolls fairly easily. It measures about 4' 3" wide X 3' 5" deep. Vintage Clay Turpintine Collection Pot
A true part of American history. Throughout the south in the 1800 through the early 1900's the pines of the south were used to collect their sap for many industrial uses. By slashing the tree and hanging a pot below a couple strands of metal to form a"V" the sap ran into the pot and was then collected by the farmers. This pot was found while hunting in Bunnell Florida. It is in excellent shape, has a couple chips on the rim and by the nail hole but is very sound. is 7.5 inches high and is 5 inches across at the top. Item will be shipped US First Class Mail. Often the mast pipe on a Challenge 27 windmill will have worn out at its neck or at the point it contacts the storm stay. Now you can save bunches making yor own replacement mast pipe using one of these bushings to created the pull-out tube channel. Simply drill a hole in the wall of your replacement pipe and spot weld one of these new bushing in place flush with the bottom of your new pipe. Be sure to align the opening in the bushing correctly.
