It measures 5" high and 3-1/2" wide(width does not include the clamp) There is a red jewel on one side and green one on the other side. The jewels slide open for light. They are in good condition and are easy to open. I opened the light to show there is a wick inside. You can see everything appears all original. The only downside I can see on this antique piece is there is rust on the clamp and there are a couple of'dings' on the sides. The rear lens inside has a crack across it. But the lens is intact. Antique PERKO Brass Adjustable Marine Spot Light Boat Search Light Nautical
This is a really cool old Perko marine spotlight or searchlight. It is solid brass and I think the light holder is a cast red brass. I couldn't find anything on the light that a magnet would stick too. It seems to be structurally in good condition. The brass could use cleaning and polishing as there's a lot of patina to the brass. The thin strip around the top and bottom of the light have some small slits. Maybe for fitting the brass around the body of the light. The light is also adjustable to be able to aim the light. The half label on the back is a Perko label. Heavy and well made. It has a GE bulb and I was told it works. The wiring is frayed and you should definitely have it checked out or rewired if you're planning on using it as a light though. See the pictures for more detail. I was not able to find any other marking on the light. The overall condition with this light is very good. It has a cord take up reel on the back side with wood handle. The light is adjustable. Swivels left, right, up, down. There is some paint ware. The lens is super condition and not cracked or chipped. These lenses alone run upward of $400.00. It is a big solid heavy piece. The light appears to be functional but was not able to test it. It looks to be 12v. I was also not able to find another one like this so information is limited. 10" diameter x 9" deep and stands about 18" tall copper and brass ship rescue spot light. The can is all copper and the base and yoke are brass. The glass was replaced with plastic covering that is scratched. The light was painted at one time and that paint is chipping off showing the copper base. Will need to be rewired. Plate hard to read but I believe type is DCE and Watts are 500w. Very unique piece. The screws are missing to hold the lens cap on.

Antique Dietz Marine-Ship Search Light/Spot Light
Up for auction is this very nice antique ships searchlight.Made by Dietz. This is a 6 inch diameter lense.This was first probably fired by acetylene,like a carbide lamp,but then was obviously converted a very long time ago to an electric light bulb. The reflector is still nice and shiny,anf the face glass is clear and not broken or cracked. You can open the light from the front or back,its hinged with a friction retainer clip. The gimble mount moves,not frozen up. And it still has its very nice patina from age,was not lessened by polishing. Would make a very nice conversation piece or decor for you marine room,dive shop,nautical themed restaurant,or just you living room shelf. Click to open supersize image Offered here today is this really sweet portable spot light. I am not sure but I believe this piece is a Ray-Line Spotlight made by The Portable Light Co. The label on it has pealed away over use and time(See Pic) The overall condition with this light is very good. There is some paint ware and missing the lens. But is a big solid heavy piece. I plugged in the light and it shows super light coverage as seen in the photos. It has a Westinghouse 500 watt light bulb in it. I was not able to find any other marking on the light. I was also not able to find another one like this so information is limited. Don't no if it was used for Marine or Fire, but the gentleman I purchased it from said it was from a fire truck.
