Up for sale is our used Eye-One Display 2 Gretagmacbeth(now X-Rite) monitor calibration kit/colorimeter. We used this colorimeter for all our LaCie CRT photography monitors but unfortunately it does not seem to be compatible with our new AOC i2757fh LED/LCD IPS monitors. It yields incorrect RGB and Luminance readings on these monitors. I suspect that it's either a driver issue or it just doesn't like this specific monitor/OS combination. You'll be buying at your own risk as like I stated it works great on our CRT monitors but I have yet to try it on an LCD beyond the AOC model I mentioned. If you find that you cannot successfully profile your monitor I will honor returns within 3 weeks of the end auction date but you will be required to cover the return shipping cost. 'SOME LUDLOW TYPEFACES' ca. 1940 Bound Volume of Sample Letterpress Selections
90-page bound volume of some sample typefaces available for the Ludlow Typograph Co. hot type line-casting machine. No date on the book itself. But there are two loose insert pages offering to exchange used Ludlow matrix fonts for new equipment, and those pages are dated Nov. 1, 1940. The book is somewhat newer than that. 8-1/2" by 11-1/2" The cover is printed on a thin film. And attached to the front and back covers; some of the film has bubbled or peeled off in places and taken some of the printing with it, as you can see. The book is offered as-is. The inside pages are fresh and intact. With no dog-ears, missing pages, moisture damage, mold, foxing, burns, smudges or other marring.

1947 KELSEY PRINTING PRESS Catalog Type Fonts MERIDEN CONNECTICUT 75th Year EXC!
The strong vibrant Chinese red color of this catalog contrasted with the large black type of the printing and the picture of the man at the press make the cover very attractive. It has not faded because it has been in the original envelope since 1947( I think that would make it the 75th year) 1947 was the year that Frank E Pulley began as Chaplain of the Chapel of the USMA at West Point and this catalog was in some of his papers. I originally thought it was in mint condition as there is no writing and no tearing or fading of the pages and there are 2 inserts and it is in the original envelope. However when I studied it closely. I saw that the very last page seems to have been torn out. See the little remnant of it in the center of the catalog at the top. I think it must have been sent in along with the return envelope which most likely was ... moreincluded in the package. Otherwise everything looks excellent! vintage LINOGRAPH typesetting machine original BROCHURE Letterpress linotype
ORIGINAL! RARE! BROCHURE FOR THE LINOGRAPH linecasting(typesetting" machine undated 6.75" x 10" 40 pg + cover. Foiled& embossed cover. A somewhat lesser known variation of the Linotype- made by the Linograph Co in Davenport. Iowa. After the Linotype patents expired other manufacturers jumped in the linecasting milieu. Some say that this machine was a more advanced. Highly developed machine superior to the Linotype. From the vertical magazine with wire channel dividers to the single matrix transfer to the full thickness machined matrix teeth. It definitely had the beef to back up that claim. These machines and matrices are very rare today. Brochure is in very good condition- some wear to the stiff uncoated cover- some foil from the embossed areas have rubbed off. Pages 9-32 have completely detached from the wire saddle stitched ... morebinding. All pages are split at the crease on the bottom 2 inches. Previous owner stamping on cover& title page.
