OCE, Canon, Ricoh, HP, Xerox, Toshiba etc. You can use this spectrophotometer with the newer models(with Fiery option) such as Konica Minolta Bizhub C6000/C7000/C8000. C224, C284, C364, C454, C554, C664, C754 etc. All versions of Command Workstation(that are used to calibrate the controllers) support ES-2000. Usually copiers/printers should be calibrated every 1-3 weeks depending on the volume of printing: as the drums and developers get older. The color deviates and you could be getting a cyan, magenta or yellow hues on the prints. Calibrating the Fiery will return the colors to their normal balance(assuming that your machine is working properly) and takes only about 5 minutes. ES-2000 also allows you to calibrate the monitors with the included adapter. Seems to work when I turned it on. Tried it with a piece of film and seemed to work. I don't know densitometers so I can't guarantee it is still calibrated correctly or will work as you intend it to. However, this was taken from a working environment when my local photo lab went out of business. As far as I know they used it and kept everything calibrated with it. X-Rite model 404 reflection densitometer Up for sale is an X-Rite model 404 reflection densitometer. Very good condition(see pictures) I was playing around with it to see what values I could get and had to read about what a densitometer does. If you're reading this. You probably already know what it is for. I wasn't making much sense of readings of various objects(being more used to RGB values) but once I read the manual about it and made my own(non-calibrated, but interesting) CMY and greyscale sheet, I could see it was doing what it is supposed to do, and the values seemed right too(see pictures) I have not done anything more than a quick calibration(read white) so original calibration has not been changed. It does not come with a calibration color card, but you can buy those or cross calibrate with another instrument. I will send ... moreyou my laminated sheet from a color printer(it has white, gray(at RGB 128,128,128) black, cyan, magenta, and yellow at 100% each, but again, my sheet is just a toy and is not meant to be a calibration card. It had the original NiCd batteries in it. One had leaked slightly but it looks like it only damaged itself. Nothing leaked onto the unit. I recycled those. I used it plugged in with the included power supply/ charger, and it works fine. It doesn't need batteries to run(unless you want it to be portable, then you'll need 6 AA NiCd batteries) It doesn't come with a manual, but you can download one Warranty: 14 days to check out/ test. If it has something wrong with it. You must notify me within 14 days, and then you can return it. After that, you're on your own. Thanks for looking. If you have any questions. Kodak Model 2(Xrite 811) Densitometer I used to use instruments like this when I was working in professional photo labs. This one was given to me as a gift but it needs some work. It is giving an error on start up(see photo) that says ERROR#6-READLMP. I think that the read lamp is burned out. The instructions that are included are incomplete and quite old. But it looks like a part number is listed there for the lamp. You might be able to find a replacement lamp and make it work. There is no check plaque or calibration plaque included with the unit. But it has a power cord and communication cord to connect to a computer if you have the right kind of connector. This model has been discontinued, but you can still find some information on these on the web. You will probably have better luck searching for Xrite 811 than for Kodak Model 2. This unit does not work properly. It is being sold'as is' It DID work well until I replaced the internal button battery. 3v[on the advice of a xRite tech] so the internal memory containing the calibration codes is gone. the LED display wont come on. the[ push the 2 buttons at the same time] procedure will not start the calibration. The calibration DID work previously. see pics. Looking at the pics. The internals look brand new. There is no battery rust or sludge damage. The outside is pristine. Except the grey/blue tape wrap which secures the 2 halves. The charger was scoped. The solid signal is all DC with no ripple. We believe this unit can be restored to good working order by a tech who has good knowledge of these systems.
