There are lower case, upper case, numbers, punctuation, diacritics(Umlauts) digraphs, accents- just all! We have not found even one character missing- we think it is a complete set. Each character measures 54 mm: 2.13 inch and 54 mm: 2.52 inch for those with descenders. We have removed some dust. But did no full cleaning. However, as you can see on the photos, the printing blocks are in an excellent condition, not used very often. The characters were stored up to now in drawers, this is a gorgeous and exceptionnel set of characters. Japanese Type 14 Nambu Pistol Set Of Wooden Grips In Great Shape With Serial #
Up for auction is a set of wooden grips for the Japanese Type 14 Nambu pistol. The left grip is original to my gun with the correct amount of lines and the serial number 4826 stamped on the back. The right grip looks like a field repair as the wood is the same and all of the cutouts are correct. There is no serial number on the right grip but it fits perfect on any Type 14. The left grip does have the letters EO carved into it. Presumably from the soldier that originally captured this weapon. This was off a 19.3 dated(March 1944) pistol and will fit all variants of the Type 14. No international sales please. Any questions feel free to ask. Antique Industrial Wooden Letterpress Print Type Tray/Drawer Home Decor,Display
Here's a unique antique printer's type tray or drawer that would make a nice addition to an industrial or primitive antique decor. Use it as is or use it as a"shadowbox" to display small treasures. Miniatures and/or photos or, re-purpose it as part of a table top. It has strips of copper(or. Possibly brass) trimming the top of the horizontal-running dividers. This trim has a really nicely aged patina. The color of the metal and the fact that there are spots of green-colored oxidation on it lead me to believe that it is copper. The edge of the tray/drawer where the handle is located is covered in painted metal(as is the handle) The handle was designed so that a card/sturdy paper can be slid into it. I do not find a manufacturer's name or any other identifying information on it. It measures 27 inches x 30 inches and is ... moreapproximately 1 1/2" deep(at deepest point) It is being sold AS-IS in AS-FOUND condition with some dust. WWII Japanese Type 30 Bayonet with Wooden Scabbard LB-151
Last Ditch Type 30 bayonet with the wooden scabbard. Using Raymond C. Labar's great book"Bayonets of Japan" I believe this example is an LB-151 which was made by the Toyada Arsenal and is their last variation of the Type 30 bayonet. This bayonet is in very rough condition with considerable corrosion on the metal surfaces, the wood grips almost look like they were burnt or very close to a fire, the wooden scabbard is missing the very top piece, there is a split in the wood on the top and one on the bottom, the pictures show everything, not the best example of this bayonet but still a very hard one to find. There is NO"Buy It Now" and selling price is the value on the Customs Form for overseas buyers.

Wooden Kokeshi Type Figure / Mother & Daughter / Japanese / Vintage
This pair of Japanese kokeshi-type wooden figures is probably 40-50 years old. And depicts what appears to be a mother and daughter. The red ink stamps on their bases are mostly illegible, but one of them seems to say a serial number. There is some wear and dustiness. With some smudges, but there is no significant structural damage. Size: The taller figure is about H5 7/8" 148mm) This item is set to ship via Air Mail. Vintage Hamilton Wooden Print Type Set Drawer 103 Sections Shadow Box w Hangers
Up for sale is a very old Hamilton Mfg. Co. Printing Type Set Drawer that has 103 compartments in it. Each of the compartment are undamaged and are in good vintage shape and vary in height to put different sized collectables in it. the sections are 7/8 inches deep with the exception of the bottom shelf which is 1 1/8 inches deep.The back has 2 hangers already on it so it must have been used as a shadowbox before I purchased it. There is a very small section on the left hand side(as you face it) that had some wood splinter off. It is slight but you can seen the lighter color in the picture. I took 2 picture of the divider wood pieces that had words inprinted on it. I adjusted the sharpness and color to help you see it. I didn't notice any other listing mention it so I don't know if it is unusual or not. One says"NEW DEPARTURE ... morePATENTED" on it and the other says"THE HAMILTON MFG. CO. TWO RIVERS WIS. This is a very unique item old item that was found at an estate sale. The figure is handmade. I think the language is Dutch. The best translation I can find is"The time flies use it well" The item is in excellent condition for it's age. The partitions in this tray are rather different to those found in `English` type trays, presumably because the French language has so many accents and therefore requires extra storage spaces. For decorative purposes or for storage of collectables it certainly makes is `interesting`. The tray measures 25½ inches wide by 17¼ inches front to back(not including the handle) with a max height of 2 inches. At auction is this vintage/antique Marion Meter Tester in its original. Wooden case. Produced by the Marion Electronic Instrument Company, Manchester, N.H. USA. This is a Type M 1 machine with serial number 200, and was calibrated and checked on December 6, 1945. The machine is used to test and calibrate other meters(such as Voltmeters) Instructions are provided as shown in photo 5. To the extent that I could, I have tested this machine. It powers on as designed and the lamps(vacuum tubes) as shown in photo 4 glow. In the foreground of photo 1, you see a test lead with a jack on one end and clips(like alligator clips) on the other. The jack goes into the receptacle shown on the far right of photo 4. The clips are attached to the meter being tested. Instructions for the 4 dials as shown in photo 2 are provided in the case. 3 vintage wooden type set trays. Each measures 22" x 17" The first one has 98 compartments- all dividers in place. Each compartment is 1 1/4" x 2" There are pencil and red crayon marks(letters of alphabet) and no handle on the front. The second tray pictured has 28 small compartments that measure 1" x 2" 22 compartments that measure 1"x4" 14 that are 2 3/8" x 4" and largest is 2 3/8 x 6 1/4" Pencil and red letters marked on inside and no drawer handle. The last tray's compartments are the same size as first pictured- 1 1/4" x 2" There are two dividers missing so two compartments are double sized.
