Up for auction is this awesome looking Aunt Jemima wood carved Tiki style Nutcracker. She has the red checked headdress with large hoop earnings. There is a wooden screw used to tighten and crack the nuts. A walnut would fit but I only had peanuts available. The bottom is stamped“JAPAN” not made in Japan. She stands approximately 5 ½ inches tall. In excellent condition and original box(marked 400 JAPAN– see photo. The box does show wear and tear. Pictures are of actual product. These items are a nice assortment of fonts& sizes. Letters& numbers, and some punctuation too. Many have been used and some are like new. A few look to have been previously cut down a bit but that just gives them more character. There are even a few small metal letters(W& Q) I bought multiple letter sets for a large project and had over 100 pieces left! These are so much fun for crafting or collecting! And they're already boxed up and ready to ship your way! Sizes(just moved, no ruler so I'm not exact) range from 1.5" up to 8" tall.

VINTAGE WOOD ENCLOSED VOLT/OHM METER WITH A WESTON METER MODEL 506 TYPE S-38 J1 click picture to enlarge This auction is for a vintage Volt/Ohm Meter completely encased in wood except for the bottom which looks like it could be made of phenolic or some other similar type material and the solid brass fascia enclosing the meter face. There is an ON/OFF switch on the top as well as terminals for the leads. There is a vertical crack in the glass approximately in the center of the scale plus a smaller crack from approximately from the 6 o'clock position to the 4 o'clock position. The meter wood enclosure measures approximately 6-1/4" tall X 3-3/8" wide(without probe holders) 4-3/4" wide(with probe holders) X 1-3/4" thick. The two leads are about 36" long each. The little white specks that you see in the pictures ... moreare white paint. It looks like the meter was near a place a paint roller had been used. They should come off fairly easily. That's about all I know about this item, including whether it works or not. Gorgeous Vintage Wood Type Uppercase Letters 1.25" Tall. Complete alphabet A-Z(No Q) Some punctuation. 56 pieces total. This wooden letterpress type is in excellent used condition. Has a beautiful patina and has not been cleaned. The set has normal dings& wear associated with age. From a local printing shop that closed. Type tray not included.

For sale is an old typesetters type drawer. It is in the condition shown in the pics. Judge for yourself if it is up to your standards. A few dividers are missing broken. Otherwise it's solid. It has a screw hook in the short length. And a wire hanger on the long dimension for hanging. It has 4 grids of 7 by 7 for a total of 196 compartments. It would be great for displaying your collectibles!

The dollar sign"$" 20 line font, block is approximately 3 5/16" tall and 11/16" wide. Condensed typeface. Manufacturer: Unknown Type is all wood. We have washed with mild soap and water to remove the worst of the dust/soil. Our lighting may distort the color of the wood. There is dried ink etc. on some letters. Some are damaged. Refinishing is up to you If you have questions. Please ask. If you are buying more than one item. Please do not pay for them individually.
