SUBLIME VINTAGE SHABBY CHIC BLUE MOSSMAN TYPE CHEST/COFFEE TABLE/ TRAVEL TRUNK This auction is for a really lovely shabby chic. Blue coloured, Mossman style, travel trunk/ chest/ coffee table. Measuring 30ins(76cms) wide x 17ins(43cms) deep x 10.5ins(27cms) high, it is a traditional steamer type trunk having protective bands on the edges and corners and twin catches at the front with a central lock and clasp and a leather carrying handle. It is finished in a blue colour with an attractive patina to it. The catches work well but there is no key for the central lock. I nternally it has the original lining material and a lift out shirt tray. It is in good general condition but has a few signs of use as one might imagine. With scuffs, nicks, scratches and so on and one corner has had a thump at some point in the past. The lining is pretty clean ... moreand dry with minor stains and it has lifted from the edges at a couple of points, but nothing serious. please see photos) This is a beautiful old travelling chest which stands with real presence- the perfect combined storage chest and coffee table! This is a spare AT Universal headshell Type S weighing 8.5gms that will fit all Audio Technica arms and others having a standard SME type fitting. As can bee seen. This headshell comes in its box. I am calling it used but it shows no signs at all of a cartridge having been fitted. I have owned it from new and can't remember if I ever fitted a cartridge back in the day. SCOTT TYPE 4310 STEREOMASTER TUBE TUNER
On the block today we have a very nice and 100% original unmolested example of the Scott type 4310 Stereomaster wide band broadcast monitor. This unit has been in dry climate controlled storage fro the past 40 years and is in excellent physical condition. This unit was purchased from the estate of the original owner who tells me it was working fine the last time it was used. I have not attempted to power the unit up as I am not equipped to do so and do not want to damage the unit in any way. Its usable sensitivity exceeded 1.9 UV. Selectivity was better than 50db, Spurious response rejection over 85 db, Separation better than 35 db, measured frequency response of 19 to 29 khz and capture ratio of a minimum of 2.2 db. The 4310 had 20 tubes, 21 diodes and weighed 25 lbs.

Claude-Étienne Minié, inventor of the Minié rifle. It came to prominence in the Crimean War and American Civil War. With 1/ 2 and 3 grooves. RARE WWII 14th Air Force"Flying Tigers" suede type leather patch This is a great and original 14th airforce patch. It is a suede type leather. Hand painted on it, the patch is old, not new, came from a vets family many years ago. I recently found it in a book(to keep it flat) where I forgot it was placed maybe 10 years ago. It is still soft, dry but not dried out, no paint flaking or anything like that. Never sewn onto a jacket, it measures 5 7/8" across. Fantastic and original patch.
