The tag on the back reads"Made In Japan" on a small white sticker/blue print. The plate is a black base, showing the John Hancock Center, State Street, Marina City, O'Hare Field, and the Museum of Science and Industry. The plate measures 7-3/4" in diameter. OVERALL CONDITION: The plate is in fine condition with very minor wear marks on the surface. There are no chips or cracks in the plate. This is a beautiful cast iron model of one of Jaguar’s most beautiful models… The E Type” You can own this affordable 1/18 scale Jag and park it right on your desk. The roadster is a bright racing red with a cream interior. Spoked wheels and in very good original condition. The doors, boot and bonnet can be opened. You have to check out the engine. It’s a straight block six with three SU carburetors. The steering wheel can actually turn the wheels. It was built in Italy by Burago and a lot of attention was given to details. This is a Great Air Corp AAF WWII Army Air Forces Cruver MFG. CO. Type D-4 Flight Computer EUC. Original and not a reproduction. I believe that these were the pre-cursor to the E-6B. This type of Flight Computer, which is basically a Slide Rule in the round was developed by the Air Corps in WWII, and is still used today. I have personally used these and the digital ones and there is just something a little bit better than the Digital version for me, maybe it is some mystical connection with the past, or maybe the fact that you don't need batteries, who Knows? Most all the chenilles posted were washed and line-dried and stored. They may need a freshen-up wash. As some have been in the closet for a few years. This COTTON bedspread is tagged Cabin Craft Martex so you know the quality is good. It has random chenille squiggles throughout with yellow flower/green leaf accents. Yellow nubby trim is along hems and this is a very pretty spread. This is a platform type style and it's about 54 x 45" and then has 22" ruffle drop on the two sides and at bottom. Making entire spread approximately 98" wide x 112" If my math is correct. No major stains- might have a couple of very minute pulls, but no big bad news. One side says, Schmidt's of Philadelphia" and the flip side reads, Beer-Ale/made in Chicago" on the upper leg and the lower leg reads, Brewers Since 1860" This opener is being offered"as found" at an estate sale and I believe, with some very minor cleaning, it would be considered"pristine" and about as"near mint" as you can get. This opener is a"must have" for any serious collection. Schmidt's was the last survivor of Philadelphia's brewing industry, closing down in 1987 after over 125 years and leaving Philadelphia without a brewery for the first time in 300 years! To prevent my wife from calling me a hoarder I must sell some of my pieces- otherwise I'll end up on that hoaders TV program! or worse the two english ladies that clean houses will come over! also I can get rid of some boxes. Having moved a few times I have also become addicted to boxes( a necessity when moving) SWMBO hates boxes so she would cut them up and into the recycling they would go. To Thwart this process I simply did not unpack boxes and thus she couldn't get rid of them! However as noted there were too many boxes and hence the need to sell and send off my beloved boxes. The decanter is blown and has a white glass collar and the stopper is hollow glass with a white glass finale It is not signed. 12 inches high; glasses are 4 3/4 inches high. Slight wear to the letter D on the decanter, glasses show no or little wear; no chips(or onion dip either, nyuck! nyuck! or fleas. There are seven glasses I just did not photograph them all, but they are all the same. So you say but my name doesn't begin with the letter D! No problem simply change your name! works for me. Anyway I believe these are Dorflinger. Some people collect this so hopefullly they will like it. Am selling as Dorflinger type to be safe. 1980 Hondo ll Professional MIJ String Through Body Vintage DiMarzio Type Pup
Up for bids is a very nice 1980 MIJ Hondo ll guitar. H-1051. The design of this guitar is very close to a Fender Lead 1 from the 70's. The guitar must have spent a great deal of it's life in the closet because it's in really great shape for being 33 years old. Solid body with string through hardtail bridge give this guitar a really crunchy tone and the humbucker pick-up is similar to a DiMarzio Super Distortion. Hondo was putting DiMarzio pups on some of their MIJ 1980-81 Professional Series(H-1010.1020,1030) guitars and from the sound and power of this pick-up I'd say this one also has a DiMarzio installed in it. This guitar is a screamer! The pick-up has hairline cracks in the corners from age and the pickup ring is cracked as you can see in the picture but it really doesn't affect the functionality of either one. The ... morescale is 25 5/8" and it is 1 5/8" at the nut. Slim maple neck is fast and smooth and it has very low action. There are a few dings on the body that have been touched up and some buckle rash on the back but the neck in pristine condition. Not a mark on it. 1 Volume and 1 tone control with a coil tap switch and an on. Off switch. Just installed a new set of Dunlop 10's on it. The first couple of frets have some slight wear but overall they are in great shape and have plenty of life left on them. Nice enclosed vintage style tuners that work well and the guitar stays in tune nicely with them. Thick 2 ply pickgaurd. Comes with the original hardshell case that is also in great shape. All the latches the work as they should and it has a great vintage yellow lining. If you win the bid on this guitar I know you'll be very pleased with the quality of it.
