Greetings. Here we have a WWII Japanese type 30 Training Bayonet. The Japanese Military were believers in the training and use of the bayonet; consequently, they produced training bayonets. This one has a quillon, a fuller and No Edge. This is also not arsenal marked. The"edge" has dings on it as if from Training. Good working ejector. Scabbard shows dark patina, and blade shows wear, scattered spots. The Pommel end is also marked, 805. See all photos for additional details. A very nice piece! FREE SHIPPING IN THE U.S.

Very early bakelite type pin with gold tone metal overlay. This pin appears to be a bar pin. It has both the pin and hook on the back. See Photo) The color is brown and rather austere although the metal work is ornate and attached to the base by very small jeweler's screws. There is a gold tone cap on one of the screws on the front of the pin and the cap is missing on the other end of that metal strip.See photo) The metal work is attached to the base by very small screws which can be seen on the back of the pin. It is very well made. I am not an expert on Bakelite but the odor test seemed to verify the Bakelite. The gold tone work is very finely done. If you are not completely satisfied. These are extremely heavy made of i believe a lead alloy im guessing at least 50 lbs for this one tray. The letters/numbers/symbols are in very good condition with a lot of duplicates. You wont find a nicer set of types. I will most likely have to ship the types in a few flat rate boxes so i cant guarantee you that the letters wont get mixed up.
