This is a vintage beautifully crafted old brass-like pin of a Butch Cassidy type Cowboy Hat. Size 1/2" x 13/16" It has a pin post and push on clasp to hold it in place. Description: VINTAGE US ARMY/ MILITARY M 1910 CANTEEN- EARLY WWII TYPE- WITH CUP& HANDLE AND COVER- c.1941 Features: Here's a great old vintage U.S. Army M 1910 Canteen from the Early WW II Era. The M-1910 canteen was used in WWI and an identical model was used in early WWII without modification. This canteen is the WWI design as it is stamped"US A C M Co 1918" see photo 5) Yes. It is made of aluminum. So this canteen was actually made in 1918 and was probably a"hold-over" that was eventually issued in early WWII. It has the correct welded side seams and metal cap(see photos including the photo 9 close-up) Later WWII production had plastic caps. The cup that comes with this canteen is the correct M-1910 aluminum cup with a rolled lip. It's stamped"U. S. M. A. CO. 1941. see photo 8) The cover once had a ... morebold"U. S. stamped on it. But this marking has been worn off. The legendary M 1910 Canteen was used well after the WWII and Korea eras. I carried one in basic training in 1962. This old U.S. Military M 1910 is in Very Good Vintage Condition with no significant damage. The canteen has some shallow dents but there's no cracks or splits. There's a little light rust on the cup handle. While the cup itself is made of aluminum. The handle assembly is made of steel. Vintage /industrial old small locker type metal box/trunk
Old metal trunk bought at Estate sale. great primitive chippy green,box is metal with some type of canvas covering, wood handle is not original to box, inside of box is reddish brown, with tag indicating used by city of jacksonville,not sure what this was used for, there is an emblem imprint on top of box but i cant make it out,dimensions are,13" long 8 1/2" wide and app 6" deep, would be pretty on a porch with geranium's in it, This is a nice heavy box, it weights almost 5lbs.
