almost 10# of letterpress lead printing type. The label on the drawer says 18 point Century Expanded. There are capitals, lower case and numbers& symbols, as well as some spacers. Please look at the size and font in the picture, as most of the labels are correct, but some have not been so please verify for yourself. obviously, I am not that knowledgeable on this stuff, but was told by an expert in the field that most of the labels were correct) It was carefully dumped into a bag and handled gently thus far.

Vintage Letterpress Lead Printers Printing Print Block used back in it's day to print advertising. Measures approximately 1-5/8" x 1-1/2" Block is heavy. Block features 3 Bells. The print blocks I sell came from a company that closed and had been in business over 100 years. This listing is for one lot of 100 random vintage lead metal letterpress print type mixed font/size block letters and numbers like pictured( may not be a complete alphabet or number set. Random 100 selected) These print type blocks are loose(not fixed in place) and measure from approx. 1/4" to 1" tall(majority are at least 1/2" tall) the last photo contains approx. 4 lots. These blocks are straight out of an old print shop and some date back to the 1920's. They are in as found condition with normal wear from age but overall are in good shape.
