There is a 3rd vial(cross-type) located under the main vial for use when the level is used vertically, rather than horizontally. I was only able to find one other example of this level on another auction site This level has a thumbscrew on one end of the vial and a pivot similar to a sine bar on the other. the words"10 seconds equals.00058 inches per foot" are marked on one side. 12” Master Precision Machinist Level. V-grooved, original box, 0.0005”10” There is no brand name on the level or on the box. I’ve seen three levels like this one online. And all of those were marked“VIS, Made in Poland” The level is in good condition. But there is some light surface rust. I have not tried to clean it. The level is shiny and scratch free, there is a number engraved on the top and side- I am not sure if this was done by the factory or a previous owner. Both the horizontal and vertical vials on the level are clear and still contain the appropriate liquid and bubble. The bubble in each moves freely.
