Up for bid is a 6 1/4 inch long precision plumb bob. It is in excellent working condition. The point is sharp. I have polished the outside but no other work has been done on it. It comes in the original wood box as evidenced by the small hole where the point has worn thru. For sale is a very nice sine bar jig from the estate of a retired friend who served as supervisor of the tool room for a Ford Motor Company plant in Michigan. It was probably made by him when he was training as a journeyman early in his career. The primary dimensions are: 3" wide. 6-1/2" long when closed, 6-3/4" high when opened, and 1-3/4" thick when closed. The distance between the center of the rolls is 5" It has numerous 1/4' tapped holes on the upper plate to facilitate clamping. No rust is apparent on any metal surface; there is slight discoloration of the metal in a few places, primarily on the bottom surface of the lower plate. Precision Ground 5" Sine Bar in wooden case
This is a custom made. Precision ground, hardened tool steel, 5" sine bar. It does have personal etching of my name on it. It measures 1" X 2" X 6-1/4" There is a stop bar which can be mounted on either end. The case is also custom made to fit. It weighs just under 4 lb. Feel free to ask any questions.
