I can easily get repeatable results.same every time) Aluminum reads 45 and very hard steel tool reads 95. I have examined the diamond indenter under a microscope and it appears intact. Conical and no chips or cracks. Some numbers were removed from the upper plastic cover and there are other minor scratches. May need Calibration. No accessories and no case. As is.

this is a"salesman model" of a working RC& brinell metal hardness tester. I used this for testing the Rockwell hardness of some knifes I made. works good but it is not calibrated. however if you have a piece of metal and no what the hardness is, it's easy to adjust calibration to it. lots of original paper work and even a brochure of the system this is a great collects model, or use it to test the RC also test the brinell hardness.
