HOWEVER. The CONTROLLER was not dropped or damaged in any way since it was on the computer cart. FARO tested the Controller and gave it a clean bill of health. I've been holding it as a spare but have never had to use it. Selling before the X series becomes the next SMX series. Also have a brand new controller to head unit cable(no temp sensor) Both should work with any S. Si, X, Xi or ION tracker(but check with Faro) I can connect the Controller to one of my other trackers and show print screens of the start-up results if needed. Of course. It may need to be re-calibrated to new kinematic parameters if your head unit has significantly different manufacturing tolerances or wear. Personally, I got virtually(within uncertainty) the same results when I first tested it with another of my heads several years ago. But you know FARO. I also have the damaged head unit for parts but it's not included in this auction.

The API T3 laser tracker from Automated Precision Incorporated is a portable coordinate measurement system or CMM. For the past 20 years API technology has become more accurate and more compact. But don’t let the size fool you, the API more than holds its own in the world of laser trackers. The API can gather 3 dimensional coordinates by following a small mirrored sphere, or SMR. When the API is combined with a coordinate measurement software the ability to collect, organize, and manipulate coordinate data is at your fingertips, you also have the ability to import and export coordinate measurement data. API holds the original patent for the laser tracker technology and has been working to improve that technology for the past two decades. The API T3 contains a red helium neon laser beam that is reflected from the SMR. The tracker then determines ... morethe coordinates of the reflector by measuring two angles, elevation and azimuth, and radial distance. These angles are measured using encoders mounted on the azimuth and elevation axes of the laser tracker. The ADM module works in conjunction with the IFM. Faro Laser Tracker Xi V2 Controller Unit and cable
Working 2007 Faro Xi V2 controller unit S/N 2-07341(no head unit) Controller was taken from my tracker which had the head unit dropped off the stand and subsequently damaged beyond repair. HOWEVER. The CONTROLLER was not dropped or damaged in any way since it was on the computer cart. FARO tested the Controller and gave it a clean bill of health. I've been holding it as a spare but have never had to use it. Selling before the X series becomes the next SMX series. Also have a brand new controller to head unit cable(no temp sensor) Both should work with any S. Si, X, Xi or ION tracker(but check with Faro) I can connect the Controller to one of my other trackers and show print screens of the start-up results if needed. Of course. It may need to be re-calibrated to new kinematic parameters if your head unit has significantly different manufacturing ... moretolerances or wear. Personally, I got virtually(within uncertainty) the same results when I first tested it with another of my heads several years ago. But you know FARO. I also have the damaged head unit for parts but it's not included in this auction.
