Gaertner Measuring Micrometer Microscope for toolmakers M-110-A
Up for bid is this Gaertner Measuring Micrometer Microscope for toolmakers. It is made by the Gaertner Scientific Corp. in Chicago ILL. It is very clean and well made. The crosshairs are in good shape and clear and seem to work right. They are not crooked and move in and out. It has all its knobs set up on the left side so I am thinking it is for a left handed person. The lenses seem very clear. It measures 12 1/2" tall and over 5 1/2" wide. It has a tag it comes with that says Insp. 2806 and the other side says M-110-A and Serial# 6580-K. Very few minor scratches and scuffs but overall very clean. Also on the base of the scope its says Gaertner 48 m/m EFL. I am not an expert on this microscope but feel free to ask questions. Sold as is. Payment is due within 3 days of end of auction.
