It was purchased from a local university that turned it in when they took the covers off the dial indicator area to do some normal adjustments they set them down and they were damaged by something falling on them(the covers only) It was working when the covers were damaged and they said NOTHING ... morewas removed. It has not been fully tested other than power up since being turned in as I do not have the knowledge to fully test. I have turned it on. It powers up, and the dwell time selection worked fine. Also, moving the tester manually up and down was nice and smooth. Please check out the pictures as you can see the gauge covers still go on and nothing is damaged in the dial indicator area itself as the covers were off of the unit when damaged. I have taken many pictures to show the inside of all areas of the unit. It looks like it could use some cleaning on some of the metal to polish out but overall seems to be in good condition. It has the original paperwork with charts and diagrams(Book is worn and has been folded for a long time) Case is wooden and has the original clasps and is dove tailed.
