High Power Industrial X-ray Head Tube Tested Good Working Large Rare 100KV
This is a nice large INDUSTRIAL x-ray tube rated up to 100.000V at up to 3mA constant service for weld integrity testing. Size is 4.5 inches end to end and 1.5 inches tube diameter, the removable heatsink is 2 inches in diameter. It can operate in pulse mode at up to 225KV at up to 10mA peak It has a clean target and looks almost new. This tube would make a good teaching display as you could feed it up to 50KV in air(from an induction coil etc) without a problem provided you insulate one of the ends very well. In oil or SF-6 gas, you can go all the way up to 200KV. If you need this it could be a great deal. See my other listing for the power supply unit for this tube!
