Lockable motion, and a novel mechanical design that virtually eliminates all backlash and provides a rock-solid, wobble-free mount at any height. A scalloped adjustment ring provides non-rotating vertical travel over 1 inch(25.4 mm) with 0.01 mm graduations. A recessed locking screw securely fixes the mount at the desired height to prevent inadvertent adjustments.
