Hello Ebay Friends! Up for auction. Is one of my best stages: a Newport 400 Series X/Y Linear Stage with two precision Starrett micrometers. This stage is the generous 5.5"X5.5" size for great flexibility and usage for both light and heavy duty set-ups. The stage measures 1.75" tall and functions perfectly. All of the factory-drilled mounting holes are in perfect condition. This item has been used, and has light surface scuffs, but it functions as new, and the precision feel of the micrometers is wonderful. I am happy to ship worldwide, but for shipments going outside the United States, I use the USPS.com shipping calculator. Dimensions of the mounting slide are 1-3/4 inches wide by 1-5/8 inches high. The mounting slide has four#6-32 tapped holes. There are four drilled and counterbored holes in the base. The micrometer heads are graduated with.001 inch divisions. Metric micrometer heads with.01 mm divisions are available. The castings are of dense iron. Nickel plated and finished with light gray enamel. Aluminum castings can also be furnished. The vertical slide will carry 1 pound. One or two extra springs can be added and each spring will allow the unit to carry an additional pound. Model A with iron castings weighs 3 pounds 10 ounces.
