High precision, and high load capacity such as measurement and inspection. The main platform is supported by four recirculating ball carrier bearings mounted to precisely aligned linear guide rails, which together are capable of providing smooth motion for loads up to 20 kg. A backlash-free leadscrew produces smooth translation that is directly driven by a two-phase stepper motor capable of 25,600 microsteps per revolution, thus yielding a positional resolution of less than 100 nm. Magnetic limit switches allow homing and overdriving protection in both forward and reverse directions. Each stage is calibrated at the factory, giving a typical on axis accuracy of 2.0 µm. The stepper motor used in the NRT100 stage has 50 individual magnetic teeth and is ideally suited for microstepping applications. Aside from the obvious increase in resolution provided by increasing the steps per revolution from 200 to 25.600, microstepping also allows for much smaller and smoother low-speed motion than the discrete 1.8o step angle, and as a result, lower vibrational noise. Description This DCI model CP3-10 motorized linear stage is in excellent++ condition as pictured. The stage surface shows no wear and measures approximately 63mm by 73mm. Travel is approximately 42mm(1 11/16 inches) when moved manually. But I suspect it should be a bit less under power to prevent bottoming out. The mini motor is a Faulhaber 3557K024CR with a HEDS 5504-A06 encoder on it. This stage also has an adjustable stop/positioning sensor set-up mounted on the back. But I do not see a maker name nor model number on it. It would be easy enough to remove if you cannot use it.
