The lens mount consists of a threaded holder with a Delrin retaining ring to hold the optic firmly. But gently. The holder incorporates 8-32 and M4 threaded mounting holes for post mounting on both English and Metric SP and MSP Series posts. Remove, and replace optical components with very high repeatability. Three polished steel balls in the bottom plate register with a hardened cone, groove, and flat in the top plate so the two plates relocate precisely every time.
