These components were salvaged from an early projection-type home theatre system that used a precision control system to position and focus the projection lens. The motor is a Compumotor model#71-006875-02-S/1460, serial# 69872AX57-51 Code A. It is equipped with a drive gear, friction clutch and connecting cable. For auction is a set of Klinger/Newport precision motion control goniometric cradles. Rotary stage and power amplifier. They are from my laboratory. I used the goniometric cradles in manual configuration for my research over the last 4 years. I had planned on running them with labview but never had the time to set it all up. Switching to different research so this equipment must make space for new things. I did not buy them brand new but the slides and bearings are just like new. No damage, just normal shelf wear and dust. These were built by Klinger in the 1980's. Newport bought Klinger 15-20 years ago and still sells the same goniometers and rotation stages. 2 Axis Newport Oriel Instruments Stepper Controller, 2 13059 Motors Accessories
This listing is for a 2 Axis Newport Oriel Instruments Stepper Motor Controller. With Two Newport Oriel Instruments 13059 360 Degree Rotators with Stepper Motors. The controller turns on and seems to be working OK. The 2 Motors spin freely using the thumbscrew and turning by hand. I do not have any cables for this. What you see in the pictures is what you get. I have no way of testing these so please ask any questions before bidding. One of the plastic connectors on the motor is cracked. But the pins are OK. Newport RSP-2 IS ALSO INCLUDED. This makes it a 3 Axis controller, with space to add a 4th Axis if required. It came as surplus from a government lab and was marked up for"re-application" Shorthand for"this project is completed and the equipment is available for use by other projects" It is in good used condition, tested to power up, pass self-test and respond correctly to the absence of any stages. No further testing was performed and no further functionality is guaranteed. It is in good cosmetic condition, with some scuffs, scratches and a small dent in the top cover.
