This quality stage has differential micrometers, ... moreidentical to Newport DM-13 micrometers, that allow 13mm of coarse range with 2mm of precision range, where on division on the micrometer is equal to 0.0005 millimeters, or 500 nm. The sensitivity of these micrometers is 70 nanometers! Overall. The stage is about 6X6 inches, and 1 1/8 inches tall. It provides 13mm travel in both X and Y with the included micrometers, although the stage is capable of another 9 or so mm travel with other micrometers. This stage is made for some precision work, and is in like new, flawless condition. The current price for this stage is $1.679.00! Just the micrometers alone go for $900($450 X2) on Newport's website! Save, even if you just take the micrometers and throw the stage away(though that would be quite a waste of a fine stage) Also included is a nicely machined custom base that bolts directly onto the stage.
