Custom 6 String Ibanez Guitar Body w Swirl Wood Top Zebrawood, Wenge and More!
This body originally came of an Ibanez RG5EX1 before being transformed into it's current state. Obviously. The paint was stripped and a new top was added. The body is still at a total thickness of roughly 1 3/4" that means part of the old top was taken down so that after adding the new top roughly 3/8" thick it would still be it's orignal thickness. The top woods are purpleheart, curly maple, zebrawood, and wenge. After the swirled pattern wood top was added and routed there were a few coats of poly hand rubbed on with fine sanding in between coats. The thin black foam padding in the tremolo recess was replaced as well. On the bottom of the back you can see where there was an indent in the body from when it had the black finish on it. It can be sanded down further in that spot if it bothers you that much but since it wasn't ... moreon the front I didn't take it down any futherthan necessary to remove where the original finish was. This is a Global Drum Company Custom Hand-made Segmented-shell Zebrawood Snare Drum. From their'Indie' series. It was listed as 14" x 8" when purchased, but the actual shell depth is closer to 7 3/4" The shell thickness looks to be either 3/8" or 7/16" This drum is made of actual solid segments of rare and beautiful Zebrawood, the pics show the wood from inside and out. Zebrawood is an exotic hardwood that is harder than maple, giving this drum a sweet and cutting sound. The shell depth adds the right amount of low end EQ, this drum sounds excellent. This drum has a nice bearing edge. Looks to be 45 degrees. The edge is in great condition, as is the entire drum. Comes with die-cast top hoop, and triple flanged bottom hoop. Has 20 mini-tube lugs. The strainer looks like a Dunnet, works perfectly. The strainer ... morelooks a bit dirty up close, but no rust or issues. It has Puresound Blaster Snare Wires on it. Top head is Evans Power Center Reverse dot, bottom is Aquarian Classic-clear snare side. Top head shows moderate wear. There is one seam showing slight unevenness where the segments join. In pic 8. Antique Trifold Dresser Mirror, Waterfall, Zebrawood, Amber Glass, Victorian
Antique dresser mirror. Early 1900's likely, has three mirrors non moveable and 2 slim amber glass mirrors in between with floral design. Carving along tops is all in great shape with very little wear for it's age. No breaks or noticeable chips. Lower base area has what looks like zebrawood and maybe maple which looks well with a waterfall dresser. I have a tall waterfall chest but it's too narrow for this. Mirrors are unchipped and in excellent shape. Some silver fading towards some of the edges from age. Amber accents really set it off. Has solid base woods with backing and stable posts to mount to back of dresser. Very sturdy piece altogether. Finish is very good and really just needs a good cleaning and polish. Georgous Thorens TD 160 BC MKII This beautiful TD 160 BC mkII is in near perfect condition and has been recently modified and serviced. This is a one owner turntable. I purchased this back in the seventies when it had an silver plinth and an Infinity Black Widow tone arm mounted. It was in use until the mid eighties when I finally gave in to the Compact Disc revolution. It has been in storage ever since until recently when I decided to restore and use it again. Unfortunately. I am now forced to sell it due to financial needs. I have the original owners manual in mint condition, original armboard drilled for the Black Widow, and the original serial number tag. The Zebrawood Plinth is absolutely georgous. It has a hand rubbed oil finish that just glows and is is as smooth to the touch as can be. A custom Zebrawood armboard was fitted as well. ... moreCosmetically. The turnable is in excellent condition but does have one small scratch in the black anodized top plate that is about a quarter inch long. It is barely visable and at the back of the turntable. but I thought I'd mention it. They are 8 ply maple with an outer vaneer of rosewood/zebrawood. In the pictures you will see my custom ordered bass drum head on them. However I have the stock Pork Pie head that will be installed before I ship. The drums have been upgraded to Evans G14 heads on the toms. And an Evans EMAD 2 on the bass drum. I have gigged with them a couple of times, but only transported in hard cases. No scratches, dents, or dings anywhere on this kit. Used Custom Handmade Zebrawood Telecaster
Up for sale is a custom handmade Telecaster. I am the original owner. My dad made the body circa 2006 out of zebrawood; very similar to maple, looks magnificent. The neck is one I bought online; maple with ebony reinforcement. The neck is honestly my favourite thing on this guitar. The tuners are some spares I had, but the high E broke, so I put a Grover on there. The pickups are unknown, they're very Fender-sounding with an intermediate amount of output. The body has a fair amount of paint-wear and a couple dings. Most are pictured. The edges are stripped of paint on most of the back as in one of the pictures. The most noticeable dings are the two on the back(pictured) The pickup rings are pretty broken, but do their job(pictured) The are no covers for the electronics, I've had no problems with this(pictured) The strap button's ... morescrew eventually wore out its hole, causing me to sadly have to put in a new one(pictured) I have played this guitar around the house frequently and at a couple practices, but never gigged. Roland PD-120 vdrum, unique exotic zebrawood finish!
This is a Roland PD-120 in great condition. It has a unique Zebrawood finish(or wrap) that really makes the drum stand out and gives the appearance of an exotic wood acoustic drum. The color of the drum underneath the Zebrawood wrap is white. The wrap can easily be removed by taking all of the hardware off the drum and peeling it off to restore it back to white if so desired. Shakespeare Super Necedah recurve bow: zebrawood beauty at 54", 45#
This is a really pretty bow in a great length and draw weight for deer or turkey hunting. This bow was Shakespeare's premium hunting model in the late 60's. And they used some spectacular pieces of zebrawood in the risers, with contrasting rich brown laurel wood in the sight window. Made with a very strong"I-beam" style riser. This bow is not in original condition; it was refinished by a previous owner- the new finish is nice. But the original limb decals are gone, and the serial number and draw wt. length information has been re-written. It's a fine shooter and a very handy size(54" for hunting from a blind or treestand- if you want to have just one Shakespeare in your collection. This model would be a good place to start. Comes with an almost-new multi-colored Dacron string.

Jeffery Archery 56", Right-handed, 50 pound, 3 piece, Zebrawood Recurve Bow
This bow is made by Jeffery Archery out of Columbia. SC. It's a 3 piece take-down model. 51 pound draw weight at 28" draw length. This bow is made almost completely out of Zebrawood. The riser is one piece of solid Zebrawood. The limbs are made of 2 Zebrawood laminations, which are then sandwiched with clear fiberglass) and with reinforced limb-tips. The limb bolts require a 3/16" hex head wrench for assembly and disassembly. Aesthetically; this is an ugly bow. At least in my opinion. None of the limb laminations match each other on either side of the bow. However, it is very well made and in brand-new condition. In all honesty, it MUST be listed as used. It is also a good shooter, fast and accurate. I would recommend sticking on a arrow rest. The shelf is too flat and long for accurate shooting off of it. If one wishes, a new ... moreset of limbs could be made to order from Jeffery Archery for about 290 bucks. The riser alone would cost. At least, that much. I can't supply a phone# here. Purpleheart and Zebrawood Electric Guitar USA handmade, Kahler, OHSC, Duncans!
If you want a guitar built with high quality parts that is not made out of firewood and is unlike anything else you've seen. This is it! First. I'm going to tell you the bad, because I am honest and complete with my listings. But don't get too concerned, because there's a lot more good than bad! When this guitar first came to me, there was a small piece broken off the lower horn, apparently during shipment. Fortunately, I was able to find the piece in the case and wood glue it back on successfully. I added some foam to the case to prevent this guitar from moving around in that way again. I also noticed a very fine crack running from the output jack to the bottom edge where the purpleheart and zebrawood meet. There is no crack on the control cavity side, so I know it is just a surface crack. There are a few finish blems on ... morethe purpleheart side that I tried to capture in photos, but nothing serious. These things do not negatively impact the sound or playability of the instrument in any way. A few parts were missing from the Kahler when it arrived. So I immediately contacted a Kahler parts distributor to obtain replacements and installed them without incident. Whoever had this last didn't understand the intricacies of setting up a Kahler trem, so I made some adjustments. I'll include a spare chrome fine tuner for the bridge that I have on hand with the guitar, case, locking nuts and clamps, and Kahler tremolo bar. I replaced the missing height adjustment screw in the bridge pickup. You can see it in the close-up of the bridge assembly. The red color in that photo is because the chrome apparently triggered the red-eye feature on the camera. I replaced the Schallers with locking tuners so that I didn't have to fiddle with the locking nuts by the nut and string changes are also a breeze, now. I included a photo taken after the tuner replacement. Overall. The finish is nicely done, the body is well sculpted, and the wood looks great.
