Each design is hand appliqued. Using a tiny blind stitch, onto a 15" block. This is a summer quilt with no batting and minimal quilting. The quilting is done only around the outer edge of each block. Hand quilted at 7 stitches per inch. Binding was formed by folding front to back and hand stitching. Size is 64" x 76"+/ There are scattered small stains and wear along the edge. We purchased it from Belgium and it is made from oak. We have professionally stripped and painted it in a lovely off white french grey farrow and ball paint. Rubbed over the edges and waxed it giving it a stunning patina. It would look well in an old or modern property amongst similar painted furniture almost in any downstairs room. The sideboard stands on small queen ann style cabriole feet supporting the main section where there is a carved frill to the bottom. There are two large doors eitherside of an open section and a shelf with two drawers to the ... morebottom. The doors are beautifully shaped with a carving to the top. To the centre there is the open section with bow fronted drawers to the bottom. We have left the key escutcheons in their natural iron work so they contrast beautifully with the paint. The top has a rounded bull nosed edge and we have left this natural with a parque top. The height is 102cm. The width is 140cm and the depth is 54cm. This auction is for the white cot pictured. The green cot is sold in a separate listing. Old World War II army cot. Some stains. Some moth holes, still works. Wood frame is made from oak and is in good condition. Tenons at end of cot have wear, but still hold end spar. May be some light surface corrosion on the hinges, very minimal. This report was published 12 days prior to the main battle that occured June 30. 1862. The forces under the command of Gen. Ripley following the orders of Stonewall Jackson who had just arrived on the field of battle that would be known as White Oak Swamp and Malvern Hill, Va. The upcoming action in support of Lee's assault at Glendale would offer Gen. Jackson another opportunity to prove himself. Jackson arrived at noon and approved Crutchfield's gun emplacement that was designed to fire diagonally from a ridge across the swamp against the Union batteries and infantry positions that they saw about 300 yards away. This is a Beautiful Handmade Vintage to Antique Woven Buttocks Basket in a small size. I believe it to be made by an Eastern Tribe in North Carolina mountains. The basket is made of white oak. It came from an estate in the Carolina Mountains. The basket is 9 inches by 5 inches and 4 inches high to the top of the basket and 5 1/2 inches high to the top of the handle. The vintage basket is in very good condition with no breaks.

ANTIQUE WHITE OAK BARREL KEG CASK DECOR? GORGEOUS!
SO the story goes like this. I bought from a sailor buddy of mine thats been sailing for over 20 years and he is really into maritime pieces. This keg is white oak and probably was used on the old ships for rum or water. Most of them rotted away in the ocean due to the weather and salt water. He says that way back when. They would have a bunch these filled with whatever and lined up on the wharf. They would leave them there for the night and when they arrived in the morning, they took aboard the ones that didnt leak, which is why this one survived. He bought it in New York at a flea market about 15 years ago when he was sailing. Easily a turn of the century barrel. Measuring 22" long and 10" in diameter in the middle portion. It really is an amazing piece. Nice patina. Some of the bands are a little loose from the wood drying and ... moreshrinking over time. But it does retain the original brass spout, original steel banding,no sure if the cork is original though. The bands are also bent so they feet on them. Lefty Strat Replacement Neck, White Oak. Possibly Vintage?
Selling a lefty Strat neck that I have absolutely no information on as far as what can be seen. That having been said here are some facts about the neck-no markings or serial numbers-Made from white oak-is in overall good condition-has some wear from being played a lot on back side-fret board has some rough wood grain to it and isn't smooth to the touch and one of the inlays sunk in-12.75" from fret one to fret twelve(so thats 25.5 overall scale length) 2 and 3/16" heel In my life I've seen a few necks like this. They were used on Fender guitars as replacements, had no markings or numbers etc. I feel like it COULD(not saying for sure that it is) be a vintage because of the wear on the back. It is consistent with very old instruments that have been played for a very long amount of time, the finish is worn through and the ... moreoil from the players hand has been absorbed into the wood, that isn't something that is easily recreated and looks natural. but that having been said I am personally not 100% sure what this is at all other than what i posted above. will answer any questions, also while picking over the neck to better understand it to sell I placed it in one of the righty bodies I also have for sale and it looks pretty sweet.

Fine woodwork Set of 2 hand-carved mirror-image end panels of ¼-sawn white oak.
Set of 2 hand-carved end panels made out of quarter-sawn white oak carved in highly decorative Victorian pattern These fine pieces of woodwork were originally part of a pipe organ keydesk. But they can find application as accent or conversation pieces anywhere that fine handcrafted joinery is loved and appreciated. These are over 100 years old and were carved out of quarter-sawn white oak. These highly decorative mirror-image pieces of woodwork will serve well as rugged shelf brackets, desk end panels or any other application where two pieces meet at right angles and need reinforcement or the illusion of strength. They would also serve well as end cheeks on an older pipe organ keydesk restoration. The backside shows where the"stair-step" arrangement of drawknob terraces used to appear. Up for bid is a vintage box of White Oak Bark. N. F. Quercus Alba) from S. B. Penick* Co. The box says"Crude Drugs, New York, N.Y. USA, Asheville, N. C. Weehawken, N.J. The Initial Source of Supply" Initial Line, Loose Pressed. One side says Synonym- Quercus, Parts Used- Bark, Family- Fagaceae, Habitat- United States. The box is browned I assume from age. It has no tears, tiny, hardly any, wear on corners and edges with what looks like moisture staining as can be seen in the pictures. It is unopened. Net weight one once. I am not positive that this one is quarter sawn oak but I am pretty sure it is oak. Size approximate but not exact. It is about 2 1/4 wide x 16.5 x 16.5. Not in perfect shape as shown in pictures. The last picture shows a crack in the wood but the first picture shows the fine line on the other side. I just thought it was the grain. The wood just glows! Fishing baskets were used by Eastern Band Cherokee who would harvest fish from the region’s many rivers. The narrow opening of the basket would allow fish to swim in but not out, trapping them.
