DUAL 505 WALNUT TURNTABLE PLINTH;RARE REAL WOOD VENEER
Here is an opportunity to obtain a rare real wood veneer plinth. Suitable for any Dual 505 turntable. The sale is for the plinth only-The turntable in the gallery photo is simply for illustration purposes and is not included. The plinth actually comes from a Dual 505-2 Deluxe and provides a sonic as well as a cosmetic upgrade from the standard plastic plinth that came with most 505-1 and 505-2 decks. The 505-2 Deluxe. 505-3, and 505-4 decks all had wooden plinths but very few were issued with this real wood veneer finish. As you can see from the photos. The plinth is in very good condition. The only noticeable blemish is a chip off the rear-left support pillar,inside the plinth itself,please see last photo)This does not affect the plinth's ability to support the turntable, and is obviously not visible when the deck is in place. Amazing mahogany cabinet doors w/ pressed wood panels and crotched walnut veneer
Up for Auction are three Amazing mahogany& walnut cabinet doors. Two doors have a center panel that is antique pressed(I believe walnut) wood with crotched book matched walnut veneer panels above and below. The third door has three panels of crotch book matched walnut veneer panels. The doors are constructed of mahogany(spanish cedar) with walnut trim. The backing is a smooth plywood cabinet grade. These doors are a custom design incorporating salvaged antique materials. Reclaimed and new wood from Whitmer Design Studio. These doors have never been used and are new although they incorporated antiques materials in the design. They have not been finished- except for the antique panel that was kept in its found state. The two antique paneled doors are prepped for SOSS 216E invisible hinges- see pictures. This auction does include 2 pairs ... moreof the SOSS hinges to mount(2) doors. The center door is prepped for 2" x3" hinges- these hinges are not included. Please ask questions, I do not take returns. You will not be unhappy with these- they are just gorgeous and will be even more so when they are incorporated into a cabinet that is just epic. Stunning trumpet table workbox for needle work from late Victorian. Early Edwardian period. Furniture label underneath is from 1932, sold later than made, hence my listing it as 20th century antique, hard to tell for sure. Beautiful walnut veneer. Stunning colours. It is for the most part unrestored. There is gluing(not great) of the inner cover plate in the centre(see picture) The condition is generally lovely. The look is stunning, the lines beautiful and of course it has a function. Beautiful piece measuring at very roughly 30" tall, to is roughly 22/24" wide. The lever hinge inside works fine as you can see. It definitely is a pre-restoration ... moreitem, once done, will look even better. It's stunning as it is, lovely lines and curves. Used. Could do with some work as you can see natural age splits in the wood base below the surface at the sides, quite a few large and small, frame surrounding the mirror also(couple of tacks missing there, but it's solid) The latch needs work as it's obviously been taken off at some point and put back a bit off kilter so the top sits slightly above. There is a lift to the veneer on the surface as shown, needs to be sorted quickly. Ancient long since dead and treated small are of woodworm at underneath base as shown, absolutely gone and darkened. This will sit nicely as it is. It's a beautiful item that I bought for myself, but am changing the look of the area, so it doesn't quite fit in. Great antique piece for anyone. Russian Folding Drop Leaf White Walnut Veneer Art Deco Wood Dining Table
You are bidding on a vintage. Russian made, veneered drop-leaf table. The tag is on the very bottom and partially missing. I can't make out the maker. It clearly shows that it states that this is a folding dining table with some numbers that don't mean anything to me. It's very pretty but does not fit in my tiny cabin. There's some surface scratches from use. The leaves need a little bit of'tightening' There are piano hinges on both sides. The screws are a little loose which, when raising the heavy sides, you can notice. One of the leaves has a bow in it but it's not very strongly pronounced that you really notice it that much when the table is open. I don't use it and I don't want to further stress it from moving it. I'm hoping it will go to a good home where someone will give it a little bit of love ... moreand enjoy it for years to come. It's heavy and fragile so I'd prefer to have someone come by to pick it up.

This is a large oval wrought iron(or wrought iron looking) mirror. Plus a sofa table with scrolly legs and walnut veneer top. Pieces did not come together originally, I refinished them to match each other. Table approximately 4' X 1.5' Mirror approximately 4' long and 2' high. It's hard to get a sense of the color because I was getting reflection off the table top. But the wood is a darkish brown. The second photo is probably closest. Marantz 2215 in WC-22 walnut veneer wood cabinet LOCAL PICK-UP ONLY
This Marantz 2215 is in like-new cosmetic condition and perfect operating condition. Pots were quiet but cleaned with Deoxit for good measure. Vellum paper was bleached white to restore the original blue hue of the radio dial. Sparkling clean inside and out. Serial number 16889. Production date stamp 1972 5 17. This was the little brother to the 2230. 2245, and 2270. This puts out 15(old school) watts per channel. No original feet included, but there are felt pads under the wood cabinet. Nice WC-22 walnut veneer cabinet was just oiled. No shipping. Local pick-up only. Available on CL. For less.

Real wood with Walnut veneer, it's just at the point where age and wear problems can still be refinished pretty easily but make the price very reasonable.
