This wonderful wood with veneer 5 pc Tiger Maple Bedroom Suite from the 1920's is beautiful and unique. In the 1920's a lot of veneer was used as solid wood was really expensive. The set includes the full size bed with a headboard/footboard and side rails. 2 tall night stands, a high-boy chest of drawers, and a short vanity with mirror. This set was purchased at Morris Antiques in Keo, AR a few years ago. The set does have some damaged areas, dings, and scratches from moving(but can be repaired by a qualified professional) I have tried to take pictures of all of the major flaws.Night stand leg has wood missing, night stand has cracks in veneer top, foot board veneer is coming loose on one corner and also has a bubbled area under the veneer, and the vanity mirror has a cracked area) Overall, this is still a very nice set! But we will sand it down so it is usable. Would have to be for the right project/use as it is a little rough on the back. About pictures: Most pictures have been temporarily wet on the lower portion of the veneer to show what the grain may look like when finish is added. Color adjustments have been made to show the color as best as is possible. It is impossible to get photos exactly correct in color. But we have made an effort to do so. Vintage Memphis Era Clock with Maple Wood Veneer c. 1980s
I have a rare memphis era clock with maple wood veneer c. 1980s. I believe its japanese made. The clock is in good working order and has a swinging pendulum. The pendulum may have had a ball on it at one time but im not sure as it looks sorta short. But it may just be the design. The legs are made of natural wood and are not all perfectly straight. Its a great example of postmodern design.

This incredibly well constructed bookcase was built for an era long ago. An era when people retired to a library. Outfitted with rich wood furniture and overstuffed reading chairs, lit by natural light. Now, I am not suggesting it is that old. It actually appears to have been custom constructed to those owners wishes, within the past decade or so. We removed this beautiful piece from a bay front 1930's Miami Beach home slated for demolition. While the grand home sadly succumbed to years of salt water attacks on the exterior, the owners spared no expense to keep the interior of this home and it's furnishings as a beautiful reminder of times gone by. Believe me, if I had a twelve foot wall in my home, this bookcase would have been installed there yesterday. So, instead, today is your day.
