Vintage Monkey Pod? Teak? Snack Server W/Hors D"oeuvres Picks Unique!
Check out this vintage mid-century wood snack with matching hors d'oeuvres picks. This server looks like a flower with six petals. In the center is a wood pedestal that holds the 6 hors d'oeuvres picks. This pedestal unscrews from the base. And when removed reveals the six individual sections that are held in place by wood pegs. The petals or sections can be taken apart for easy cleaning. This is not a lazy susan and does not spin. The server is 12 1/8" in diameter, the pedestal in middle is 3" high and picks are metal with wood ends and 3 5/8" long. Server is in very good condition but does show wear and age.

A nice used Faberware cocktail shaker. There is wear around the handle from being used. And 2 small dings in the lid that have to be viewed in the right light/direction. I tried to photograph them from the top. Please note the teak handle is refinished with a removal of the old and a reapply of teak oil. So it may smell like teak oil until it fully cures. Estate sale found vintage mid century Danish modern Dansk Denmark teak wood salt shaker pepper mill in excellent condition. This is marked on the bottom and the only words that are clear is"Dansk" and"Denmark" The other marks I cant decipher. The teak wood is very nice with no dents, dings, cracks or chips. There is no salt or pepper in the shaker and the peg fits well. Measures approx. 5+3/8" tall x 2+7/8" in diameter. Displays well, a nice addition to any collection. This is an interesting Piece which is about 3" tall and about 2-1/2" in diameter. A prefect item to display on ones desk or display case. The little teak barrel is made from the bowsprit of the H.M.S. Victory which was purchased on 2nd June 1937. The brass or copper label which could use some polishing. Reads: From the Bowsprit of H.M.S. Victory, Nelson's Flagship Trafalgar 1805, purchased 2nd June 1937. I do not deep clean items for the fear of devaluing them. The top section has four long and lean shelves with 2-lights behind each section- plug in type. It takes the tiny blubs which I just put in two new ones for you. The glass is a smoked brown tinted glass with indent handles that slide on a track. The teak veneer is very beautiful and rich in color. This is a very strong. Solid and heavy Credenza! The back of the 2 pieces is fine- I just could not move it by myself to take a picture. For your consideration is this handsome solid teak wall p laque weather station made during the mid to late 1960's. The instrumentation was made in France for art distributor.Highline West" of Littleton, Colorado. The engraving of two WWII Bi-planes was crafted by Hadley Hutson and is signed by the artist in the lower left of it. All three instruments work perfectly. The barometer is fully adjustable. There is a very small dent/scuff just under the tail rudder of the plane in the forefront. Otherwise, the p ie ce is fine. For Sale Vintage 1950 Mid Century Danish Modern Teak Tray Table MOREDDI Fritz Hansen era You see the very table listed as a Fritz Hansen produced tray table. Well. It isn't. It doesn't FOLD. Other than that. It is a near twin. It was made by Moreddi. Or should I say made FOR Moreddi, which I believe was a firm that had designs made for them which they sold under their name Nicely marked. Marked DANMARK. Which means it is earlier, probably 1950's. I do find it weird that this was being produced CONTEMPORANEOUSLY to the Fritz Hansen table. In Denmark and is so very very similar. Interesting. Overall in very good shade. There is one nicely done repair at the top of one leg(pictured) Pretty hard to see but could use a little bee's wax or somesuch to even out the tone. The picture is WITH A FLASH. In natural light the repair is ... moremuch harder to see. Top is great. Base is otherwise in excellent shape. So. If this were a Fritz Hansen table you would be looking at 500-$600 dollars. I am asking a bit less. It is JUST as handsome, made in Danmark, and is a great table. NOTE- FOR SHIPPING I will likely take the base apart. This is primarily for the SAFETY OF THE TABLE. Those legs are delicate. It is a single screw to put it back together. In case you’re wondering. Baribocraft was a Canadian company in Quebec through the 60′s& 70′s famous for their gorgeous grained maple and teak woodenware. They were known world-wide for their quality of craftsmanship and innovative styles. This is their signature logo… Sadly Baribocraft ceased production in the 70′s and they are no longer in business. But their pieces have withstood the test of time! With proper care the woodenware looks just as stunning today as it did when it was created. And the quality in craftsmanship allows for continued use for as long as you have a use! TIP: To care for your Baribocraft. Or any other woodenware for that matter, never soak it in water. Water will dry out the wood. A small amount of coarse salt scrubbed gently on the surface will clean and sanitize your piece, and if you condition the wood occasionally ... morewith a butcher block oil, or even a skim of cooking oil it keeps the wood looking fresh and moisturized! No reserve and low open on this great mixed lot of serving items- Items have some normal wear You get the following stainless steel with teak wood handles tray marked Stainless SELANDIA Denmark underneath- measures 10" x 8 1/2" large and small bowl/dish set(small bowls bottom fits into hole in center of large bowl) marked Dansk Designs GC underneath- small one measures 5 3/4" across top x 2 3/4" tall. Large one measures 12 1/4" across top x 2 3/4" tall I cannot guarantee all items are from Pet Free/Smoke Free homes. Most items come from estates.
