Ibanez Body MIJ RG520QS quilted sapele mahogany blue green 2000 Japan
This is an Ibanez RG5 20QS body made in Japan in 2000. It is routed for two humbuckers. It takes the Edge tremolo. Unlike the other RG500 series guitars. This body is mahogany. It has a blue/green quilted sapele veneer which reminds me of light reflecting off of water. The color is showing up more blue on my screen but in person, it is a greenish color. The photo that shows the electronics cavity is closest to the actual color(on my monitor at least) There are no neck pocket cracks. There is a 3/4" x 1/4" chip down to the wood on the upper bout. There is some pick haze above and below the strings from playing. There is circular etching around both pots, especially the volume pot, from contact with the knobs. There are other, less noticeable dings down to the wood along the edges, especially on the back of the body. I tried to show ... morethe condition in the photos but if there is anything you want to see closer up, ask and I will provide additional photos. It comes as pictured- the body itself with pots. Exotic Sapele Mahogany quarter sawn ribbon striped 2 1/2 inches wide 7 feet 3/4 inches long and 23 5/8 inches wide. The slab is rough sawn with one long edge straight line ripped(1 squared edge)The piece would make an awesome table. The piece in kiln dried. Clear#1 quality. The back side has one small crack in middle portion of board but not through board or on end. These are not that uncommon in boards this size. This would be the bottom side and is normally filed with epoxy and never seen again. The topside in perfect condition. Due to size and weight these items are pickup only as shipping would be very expensive. However. If you are willing to cover shipping and packaging costs I may be able to ship.

Up for sale is a beautiful genuine Taylor 310CE with expression system electronics. Made in California, USA. It sounds amazing! It's been professionally setup at my local guitar shop with light gauge D'Addario strings and low action. The neck has been professionally oiled and the whole guitar has been polished and ready to go. There is minimal fretwear. There are no buzzes anywhere and it plays great! I used this as a studio guitar. There are some dings and marks around the guitar as you can see in the photos but that is because this guitar has been loved and played. This guitar will sound much better than a new one because solid wood guitars sound better the more they are played. It has always been properly humidified and strings replaced regularly along with regular setups. I never gigged with this guitar. I have a cheaper taylor ... more110 that I've played out with. I used the hard case for this guitar with my 110 so the hard case is a llittle beat up. There is a broken back latch and the handle has a broken prong but none of this prevents the case from functioning properly. This guitar has a neck fracture that is described below, it is sold“as-is” Prior to this damage the Taylor had been used very little and was always properly cared for and adult-handled. Please refer to the photos as you will receive the same guitar shown. DUE TO THE NECK TRAUMA. WE HAVE REMOVED THE 12 STRINGS FROM THE GUITAR FOLLOWING THE PHOTOS. A small lower side ding, and a few edge nicks on the black edge-guard. There is a minor amount of'buckle rash' in a few spots on the bottom side-short. Shallow surface indentations which are almost invisible but can be seen on close inspection. There are light scuffs to the pickguard and very light scuffs visible in a small area above the bridge. Left side. These very minor signs of use are quite superficial and do not affect performance or playability in the slightest. The damage occurred the first time traveling with this guitar. It was fully tuned and came on board a plane. Via checked baggage(big mistake) Maybe it was the baggage handlers or maybe it was the pressure difference in the cargo area, but when the owner landed he had quite the surprise.
