Item Description Up for auction is a piece of Brazilian rosewood lumber. Recently I meet a widow cleaning out her husband's workshop. In with all the wood and tools I found 8 of these boards(last picture. Please see my other auctions) Woodworking was his hobby and she said he picked these up in the late 1960's but could never decide on a project for them. Planed on all four sides it measures 63" x 8" x 3/4" Almost 2x a s long as the other rosewood lumber I currently have listed. This piece of lumber is in g reat condition. I would call this piece a panel because it's actually t wo boards of rosewood put together(pics#2.3) not one solid piece. If taken apart and planed these would be great for fretboards and back and rib pieces for guitar construction. Antique Rosewood Portable Melodeon Pump Organ Case in Great Condition Bellows Works Here is a great old portable pump organ for your buying consideration. I recently acquired it at a local auction. The organ has a nice rosewood case on it that the finish is still mostly intact on. I see no cracks or splits in the case. All the keys seem to still be hooked up. The bellows does generate enough air to produce sounds when the keys are depressed. I did not attempt to hook the rods up to the floor pedals. Amazingly. The music holder is still on this organ. The one side was repaired at one time where cracked and done well. The key is even with the organ to lock the door over the keyboard. Organ keys look good, no cracks, splits or missing pieces. The one thing I see to report is that the black material or paint applied to the bellows is flaking ... moreoff. Not sure if that is an issue or not. Per the tag inside the instrument. It was at one time in New England. My guess is that the organ was made sometime between the 1850s to early 1920s, but that is just my guess, you be the judge as to how old this organ is. There also was no maker mark or tag on the organ. It might be a Mason& Hamlin out of Boston, MA or a Prince& Co. from Buffalo, NY. You be the judge as to maker and when made. Any help in identifying the actual maker and to narrow the date of manufacture would be appreciated to provide interested eBuyers with the most accurate information as possible. 2008 Fender American Standard Stratocaste Neck, Rosewood, with Tuners
2008 Fender American Standard Stratocaster neck with rosewood fretboard. Original Fender tuners. Some humidity damage: there is a slight bowing of the neck from leaning against the wall. However, the truss rod nut is stripped, so I am unable to straighten it out. I don’t have luthier or woodworking skills to replace the truss rod. There is also a 1” area on the headstock where the lacquer has chipped off, as well as lacquer wrinkling on the back of the neck near the nut, as shown in the pictures. Otherwise, the frets are in perfect condition without any wear at all. Tuners are in great shape. Pretty standard specs: C” shape neck, 9.5” radius, 22 medium jumbo frets, scale length, and 1.685” wide at nut. Has a bi-flex truss rod that needs some work, either replacement or adjusting with a“Gripper” or other wrench that is able to work on a stripped ... morenut. This guitar neck is still great for anyone who likes high action on his or her strings or who has the know-how to make it good as new again. Here's a very nice Martin Vega acoustic guitar from the 1970s- Model V-845. These guitars were made in the Netherlands after Martin purchased the Vega company. Long known for their range of banjos. This was a very high end model in the Vega range that features: Solid German spruce top Natural finish Solid East Indian rosewood back and sides South American mahogany neck German Kolb enclosed tuners This guitar is a very good copy of the venerable D28. Very lightweight. Very nice tone. The rosewood is strikingly beautiful on this guitar. The grain is very pronounced. And the back of the guitar has a very distinctive coloring that makes it look like Brazilian Rosewood at first glance. The playability is excellent with nice low action all the way up the neck. I just installed a new set of Elixer Light strings(12s) Overall cosmetic condition. ... moreWith minor handling wear that you might expect from a 40 year old instrument. There are 2 issues. One is a repaired top crack on the lower bout- professionally done and very stable. The other is a neck reset. These guitars are known to have weak neck joints. So resets are common. The reset was reinforced internally with screws, so this joint is going nowhere! There is a small repaired crack at the base of the neck, which probably occured when the joint originally failed. It is solid as a rock now. The auction includes a very nice hardshell case(as pictured) As well as reprints of a catalog page and 1970's advertisement. The catalog page is pretty fuzzy. It is a used guitar from the best of the lawsuit era. Those who have played or owned the"Designed in USA" Ventura guitars(only was a few years) know the collector and player's value! Has some dings in it. A few light scratches, a nice rosewood finger board and a good solid wood top. The guitar is 40 3/4" in total length and has a body length of 19 3/4" The string height at the 12th fret is 1/8 to 3/32nds" the cover is missing off the truss rod at the top. The guitar has a nice edging up the sides of the neck, abalone around the top binding and has back binding and around the head stock. The guitar also has abalone inlay around the sound hole. Open cast bell feature secured to shank above worm. Which is intact and sharp. Very clearly stamped WILLIAMSON'S on a thicker tube style shank, and WILLIAMSON CO. NEWARK, NJ/ PATENTED AUG 10'97 on one end of handle. Minor crack across brad on one side of wood handle, shiny patina to shank, dark patina to bell and worm. Rich patina to wood. A larger size; measures 6" x 4" 2. An open cast bell assist feature with crown cap lifter and wire breaker of stamped steel affixed above bell. The worm is sharp and intact. Stamped WILLIAMSON'S on shank. Also clearly stamped WILLIAMSON CO. NEWARK. NJ/ PATENTED AUG ... more10'97 on one end of wood handle. Minor staining to wood handle; but very nice sheen and patina; the shank is shiny, the features and worm are oxidized with some rust. The worm is sharp and intact. Measures 5-3/4" x 4-1/8" 3. A simple direct T-Pull style. Stamped WILLIAMSON'S on shank, leading to wire worm which is sharp and intact. Very nice handle in a deeper and richer brown finish. Some loss of plating to metal. Antique French Brass Inlaid Rosewood Boulle Box Created sometime during the late 1800s. This lovely boulle box is named after renowned French cabinet maker Andre Charles Boulle(1643- 1732) Featuring ornate brass inlay covering every side of its rosewood(or palisander) body(except the base) this piece is highly decorative with detailed scrollwork& foliage. Regarding condition. The interior of the box is pristine; nearly all the brass decoration is present; and I have not noticed any'dings' or dents. Please note that cleaning of the brass decoration is left up to the buyer(though I believe it should shine brightly as it does not seem to have any erosion) Imperfections include a few missing thin lines of wood beneath the top lip of the piece and surrounding its top face(these are generally very difficult to notice) The monogram and ... morea corner are'lifting' a tiny bit; a teeny piece of the base veneer has a little'fray' I'm trying to be EXACT; these details should not deter. first let me say. These are the very worse pictures i think i have ever taken. nothing shows the way it should. i had to get this out of storage, the roof blew off. anyway, i have had it recovered and it got wet so i had it refinished. anyway, it is a very rare piece to say the least. this is a period rosewood piece most likely done by belter. it is rosewood, had a pierced carved crest and had carving on the bottom of the slightly serpentine front. the sides are serpentine and the legs are identical front and back with carvings at the top and bottom which show terribly. demi sofas don't come along very often and they are usually empire. this is a rococco piece and very well done. it was made in 1860. it does not have casters at the present but the legs are drilled for small casters which i probably have some around somewhere if the new ... moreowner would like me to throw some in. they were made to sit in front of a bed i think. i guess that would be up to whoever owned it. these are not love seats, not many were made and i think i paid maybe 1600 for this years ago. again, you will not find another one listed on ebay i don't think, nor do i think you will find one for sale anywhere that is a rococco piece. i don't know how many carved buttons it has, but a bunch that go around the entire back of the piece. at any rate, i am starting it for about what i paid and have been out the expense of recovering it etc. it can be picked up at my home or it can be shipped at the buyers expense. i can help arrange for shipment should that be of benefit to anyone. good luck.

In good used condition. Plays well and sounds good. Solid Spruce top. Rosewood back and sides. Cosmetically it has some issues, a short crack near the bridge, that has been like that for 3-4 years and hasn't moved. Some scuffing on the back. Some extra holes on the back of the headstock where tuners were replaced. But the neck is straight, the top is flat, and the bridge is secure. A tray made of tropical brazillian wood with art deco inlay design popular during the 1940s made in Brasil and highly sold to tourists. I've counted over 250 overlapping wings(give or take) and some are of the wonderful blue morpho(beige on one side and blue on the other(hence-morpho) butterfly. The pattern is beautiful and the detail of such fragile beauty is amazing. The angles of how you look or hold the tray will make the irridescent blue wings ... moreappear different every time(as seen in photos) Just Stunning! Now this particular tray has the emblem of the famous KOSAIR Shriners of Louisville Kentucky. Their emblem is of the sword. Crescent moon, star, and a head of a sphinx. This emblem is on underneath the glass itself. The condition is quite good- wings under glass on one corner and a bit along the top are a bit powdery and the rest of the wings are in overal excellent condition. The tray itself is in very good condition with normal signs of age and some wear along the handles and top edge. I have taken plenty of photos so you can make the best decision.
