There is a scattered portion on the top surface towards one end that shows very small to tiny veneer bubbles, most noticable viewing from above at a slight angle. One end is missing a two inch portion of the bottom edge& on the same end on the opposite side bottom a four and half inch long tapered piece has broken free. But overall it is very nice. The top is made with Spruce and the back& sides are made with Brazilian Rosewood! In fact the whole guitar is made in Brazil. Can't get better than that. Laminated body is routed for a humbucker in the bridge and two single coil pickups in the middle and neck positions. It is also routed for a tremelo; this is NOT a hardtail body. All of the usual hardware was previously mounted on this body, so the screw holes are already in place. The 21 fret neck has a rosewood fingerboard. The frets are used. But in good condition. There is plenty of life left in these frets. For sale is my beautiful Lowden O25C in master grade cedar and East Indian rosewood. The sustain from any Lowden guitar is legendary. And this one is no exception. The red cedar top gives it tonal complexity due to the softness of the wood(amongst other properties of course) The downside of the softness of cedar is that it doesn't hide cosmetic blemishes at all! I've taken photos of the blemishes so you can see them. Everything is surface-this guitar is 100% structurally sound. Fret wear is extremely minimal, the neck is beautifully straight, the saddle has room to adjust if you'd like. I honestly think the set-up is perfect, it's so easy to play, but these are obviously individual preferences. Antique rosewood TEA CADDY - TEA BOX - from the 1800's w/ original key
You are bidding on a beautiful antique rosewood tea caddy in a sarcophagus form. This is from the 1800's and includes the original key(which is still functional) as well as the original decorative and ornate mixing glass(cut crystal) This tea caddy has the pyramid shaped lid. The tea caddy is in excellent shape for something at least 120+ years old. There is some normal wear which is to be expected. Nothing significant or that which stands out. It has two"tea boxes" which are in very good condition. The glass is in excellent condition with no chips. Cracks or repairs. Here's a rare antique Chinese spectacularly carved reticulated solid rosewood barrel stool seat with a round red granite top. The stool is very heavy and larger than most I've seen. It is guaranteed old and not a recent cheap reproduction. Antique Chinese rosewood furniture in original condition is getting harder and harder to find. Measures 20" 51cm) in diameter and 21" 53cm) in height. Unfortunately. There are some condition issues. It is missing two large pieces on one side, and a small piece of a flower carving(see last two photos) I do not have pieces of the missing wood. The stool is very sturdy. GOOD ROSEWOOD FOOTSTOOL OR VANITY BENCH W/ NEEDLE POINT SEAT & CABRIOLE LEGS
This is a large footstool or small vanity bench in beautiful rosewood. The top is covered in blue needlepoint. The needlepoint is in good condition but there is a streak across one corner that appears to have been faded by sunlight. It is shown in one of the photos. When I got it for some reason the stuffing under the needlepoint was removed so the stuffing needs to be replaced. The finish appears to be original and is in good condition. Just needs a little cleaning. The stool is sturdy structurally. The stool measures 22 1/2" wide. 19 1/2" tall, and 15 1/2" deep. The wood frame is 17" tall. The foot stool can be shipped via UPS or Greyhound Freight. Email with any questions. Payment through Pay Pal is due at the time of the sale.
