2006 Gibson USA Les Paul Standard Ebony Guitar black std
2006 Gibson U S A Ebony Les Paul Standard This auction is for my 2006 Gibson USA Les Paul Standard Guitar in Ebony Finish. I am proud to say this awesome six year old Les Paul is in exceptional condition and when you plug in. This one is powerful, crisp and LOUD! This one was made on May 15, 2006 and has a 60's Neck Profile. We all know it is so hard to keep Black Guitars clean and glossy. This one shows Excellent overall. This is a Rich and Classy Ebony Standard. There are some very small dings and dimples which you will mostly find on the rear body. On the entire guitar. I count 12 total, including the chip on the top, right side of the headstock. This 12 includes about 5 that are literally the size of a sharpened pencil tip. You have to angle this Paul into a bright light and get close to start counting. There is a chip on the bottom ... moreleft edge of the rear body. On the rear, so it is hidden if you care to play or display this one. The front body is in exceptional condition. Some minimal honest play wear. Minimal is the key word. On the rear, upper body there are some very small and thin scuffs/scratches just barely into the finish. I put a photo of them above with the tip of a pen. There is No Buckle Rash on the rear body. Just some light honest play wear and polishing swirls which are unavoidable on an Ebony Les Paul from 2006. I am confident the next owner will be pleased with this Standard. It is quite an instrument. I can't stress enough how powerful this Les Paul is. Early-Mid 2000's was a great time to be a Gibson Les Paul. The USA Plant was cranking out some of the finest made instruments and this is definately one of them. A solid Les Paul Standard. 60's Neck and just at 9.4 Pounds. Heavy enough for some powerful sustain yet just light enough not to break your back if you play a full set. A Black Les Paul is an Iconic Instrument. Black is Black is BLACK! It looks to be Walnut to me, but I see some that seem to be the same color listed as Ebony stain. I'm told that the Seymour Duncan pick-ups are an upgrade. It also comes with a soft Gibson case. Cosmetically, I would think it's about an 7.5-8 out of 10 with some minor scratches, scuffs, nicks or flaws here and there. This listing is for a n antique style 5-string banjo tailpiece I started for a project about 10 years ago. I went with a different design. But this one has been sitting on the back of my bench ever since. I guess you can call this a"bench clearance sale" grin) T his tailpiece is solid ebony. And has two holes drilled for a gut anchor. And five holes in the front for the nylon or gut-equivalent(I use Nylgut) strings. I've always used the leftover Nylgut string-ends to make the anchor chord. A good friend of mine uses the cut-off bits from light gauge wound guitar strings for the cords on all his salad bowl banjos. This would be an excellent restoration or project part. For those of you that email me looking for a lightweight. Kick-butt guitar-You just found your next axe. This Black Studio weighs in at a lean 7.4 pounds. Awesome to move around and go nuts if you play live or in the studio and get into the music. Keep Reading. This auction is for my 2007 Gibson USA Les Paul Studio Ebony Guitar with Upgraded EMG 81/85 Pickups. This is a serious guitar for the money. A USA Gibson Les Paul with an attitude. Black is Black is BLACK when it comes to Les Pauls and this one is no different. Look at the photos above. This one shows very well and plays awesome. Tough to see the serial number in the black finish ... moreso I will tell you this Paul was made on February 15. 2007. This Studio has been played a bit and shows the cosmetic wear of a Black Les Paul that has seen the action. It is hard to resist when you have a Black Les Paul with EMG's in it. The rear body has playing wear and rash. I put a photograph above of the right. Center rear body to show the rash. There are light scratches, dings and dimples along the rear body as well. This is not a collector's grade Les Paul. Move over to the front body and you will see a lot less wear then the rear. Down on the right side above the knobs is a long, thin indentation that runs a few inches. Fortunately, it is NOT through to the wood and is visible on a close inspection when you angle the black finish into a bright light. There are some dimples, light dings and light scratches. Ebay allows only 12 photos so I put the ones that I believe best represent this guitar above. The close ups are of the worst blemishes. It is coming from the estate of an interior designer. Orb shape with ring handles and neoclassical feet with ebony handles. Marked on underside. Overall very good condition. Silver has been well cared for. Probably missing a burner. Which can be replaced. A few small dings, but nothing significant. The top does not fit perfectly. They are all smaller then the tip of a pen. One of the great things about Alpine White is it hides small blemishes. You have to get really up close and start angling the guitar into a light to see these. I put a photo of one near the knobs so you can see just how tiny they are. On the rear body you will see some light playing wear if you angle it into a light and start looking. Nothing through to the wood as you can see. Just some surface marks of honest playing wear. If you look at the top edge of the headstock, you can see one chip on the edge that shows the wood. This can easily be touched up with a wood touch up pen from your local hardware store. This ladle has a very heavy. Beautifully constructed bowl with twisted ribbon neck. The inside of the bowl is gold washed. The handle is made of carved ebony. This piece was made between 1790-1809. The ladle has a pinprick engraving of the initials J.G.K and the date February 12, 1809 in the European style. The ladle is marked on the side of the bowl with a number for the purity. Krafft for the maker, and a long zigzag mark for the assay test. We have tested the ladle with nitric acid and guarantee the silver purity to be at least.800. The overall condition is excellent. The gold wash to the interior of the bowl is completely intact. There are a few very minor dents ... moreto the silver joint connecting the ebony handle and the ladle's neck. But these are only noticeable on very close inspection. The wood handle is firmly in place and very secure. 20thc NORRIS 51GS FACSIMILE EBONY & PHOSPHOR BRONZE INFILL PLANE.
From my 30 year collection of fine woodworking tools a 20th c fascimile of a Norris 51GS Infill plane. Very similar in most respects(see Norris London Metal Planes leaflet) with the handle and phosphor bronze casting being almost identical. The lever cap is similar but the knurled lever cap screw is different. There is no patent lateral adjustment device and the blade and cap iron are not Norris made. The front bun is a different shape and with a strike button.The tapered blade included is by* Tonk and is a good useable blade. The cap iron is not named. The blade and cap iron work but it is not a tight mouth. The wood I think is ebonised rather than solid ebony. The plane bottom is flat and free of corrosion. The mouth is good with no damage. The plane is 9" long x 2 1/2" wide x 6" high. Someone has gone to a great deal of ... moreeffort and work to produce even a similar plane to the Norris 51 GS and it is an interesting and unique plane. Gibson New Century Flying V Mirror Ebony Fretboard OHSC KILLER Sound Original
Son needs car work. The COOLEST Flying V I've EVER owned has to go. Super Sad Face. This item is for sale locally. I realize that being honest about a guitar's condition on eBay might actually cause my guitars to sell for less or not at all. I'd rather be honest and have a happy buyer than to make more money. So. Here goes. These don't come up very often. And not often original stuff. I paid DEARLY to snag this thing for my son to gig and it played well! It's not a microscope-inspection guitar, OK? So. I'm going to approach this auction with the hard stuff first. This is NOT an"excellent condition with no fret ware(sic) guitar. This is a used guitar that's been gigged and played and worked and enjoyed. It has NOT been abused! It is just a player guitar. This guitar has an ebony fretboard and little silver ... moredot inlays. Good: As far as I can tell. This guitar is largely original- I've seen these with silver truss rod covers and mirrored truss rod covers. So I'm guessing on that part. It has the right case. It has the smokin-est V pickups I've EVER played. Sounds awesome! Neck profile is nice- big enough to grab. But fast enough to make it comfortable. Will blind the audience when you play on stage! Not as good: The case smells really musty and has scars. The case is missing the lock latch. There are lots of little scratches. Dings, swirlies, and back-wormies on the guitar: It looks GREAT from 6 feet away, though! The plexiglass mirror pickguard on all the New Century Gibsons is not glass. It is plastic. it gets scratched. The mirror has TONS of swirlies in it folks. From 6 feet away it looks great. Shipping is approximately my actual cost to anywhere in the United States of America. No international shipping please. I don't add"and handling" to my shipments. I do. However, have to pay fees to eBay and PayPal on the shipping costs, so I generally actually lose money. I ship via my local Office Depot via USPS or UPS(my choice) I work a full-time-job every day.

Made by the Italian Luthier Antimo Verola in his workshop in Somerset Mass. in 2012. The stick is round and has a length of 74.3cm. 61gr. It is of a dark brown Pernambuco of excellent quality. The model is classic Verola current work, very fine finishing and detail work only an Italian artisan can accomplish. The frog is made of Ebony. It has classic Parisian mother of pearl eyes on both sides of the frog. The Classic and Elegant Sterling Silver Crown Stem is unique to Verola bows and is a signature part of this maker. The bow is previously used but in almost new condition with Fresh Horse Hair and is both strong and sound and full of bounce.
