Here is a larger size Ebony Apothecary Box with two Bottles. 3 slots- assuming one bottle is missing. Size of box is 4 and 3/4 inch across front. 3 and 3/4 inch tall. Almost 3 inch deep. Bottles are in good condition with one bottle having a small chip on rim near stopper. Other minor flea bites which are barely noticeable. Some residue in bottles. Blue velvet like interior inside box. Hinges are in good condition and without issue. Push button release and closure on front latch. Closes and opens easily. Some scratches on outside of box. It is very hard to come across such collectables unless you go there. These beautiful art pieces are rare items of the Kula ring. We collected them while in the field in these remote rarely visited islands north of Papua New Guinea. We collected many beautiful pieces while in the Trobriands from carvings(created out of kwila. Rosewood and ebony) to costumes, drums and Kula ring exchange items that we list whenever we have time. In these islands which are rarely visited. Outside influence is at a minimum. An Antique Early 1800's Ebony & Nickel Silver Clarinet Set William Bauer
For your consideration an early 1800's clarinet set with original case.The case is leather bound wood. The hinges. And hardware are all present and in very good order. The original key is also included. The leather is flaking off the wooden case from age. The velvet lining is intact and in good order. The clarinets are all in very well preserved condition. The only defects I can see is the bells have surface hairline cracks. None of the cracks go through the ebony and none of the cracks extend to the end of the bells. They are slight and expected. Otherwise these are fantastic for their age. Of course the cork is deteriorated and these would need to be serviced before they could be expected to perform well.

This stunning masterpiece was handmade in Sri Lanka circa 1910 by a master craftsman who likely learned the art from his parent or grandparent. The tip of the trunk is stamped“SS” for sterling silver. The hand-carved ebony wood elephant has eyes. Toes and tusks made of bone to which the sterling silver dressing and leg chains have been added. The ornate chased silver mounts need no embellishment and yet they are beautifully decorated with the gorgeous gems mined right there in Ceylon(now called Sri Lanka) I don’t know the names of all of the gems but there are several different kinds of pink and yellow and red, most of them garnets. Citrine and tourmaline(or topaz) are a common combination with these elephants. Often, they have anywhere from 1 to 20 gems, this elephant has SIXTY-NINE genuine faceted jewels. There are a lot of carats here. The largest ones are about 6mm x 4mm in size. The silver patina is beautiful. I see no sign that this has ever been damaged. Repaired or cleaned. 2 Estate Antique Round Ebony ? Wood w/ Bronze Jesus & INRI Sign Crucifix
This auction is for two very old estate wooden(possibly ebony but am not 100% sure) and bronze crucifix statues. I believe Jesus maybe bronze but again. Am not 100% sure. They do not stick to a magnet. These do show signs of age and am selling"as is. They have a wonderful old patina and I have not tried to clean these. The shorter one(approximately 10& 3/4" is in very good condition. There is a small whole in the base with a piece of tape over it(hole looks white) See photo 11. The larger one(approximately 11" is in good condition with a wonderful patina(and to me looks the oldest) but does have a break just above his feet. See photo 10. There is also a very rusty nail just below his feet which probably just needs to be tapped back in. One of the nails in his hands also looks older than the other, and may have been replaced ... moreat some point. This also has a skull and cross bones below Jesus. I believe these are very old and were loved, so please expect minor imperfections and please see all photos!

Vintage 8" Real Ebony Button Hook. Most ebony pieces that I've owned over the years have been made in France. This piece is not marked with a country.
