This setting very generous on my large Friesian. I love this saddle and my mare does too. I love it so much that I'm ordering the all purpose Laser for me(only reason I'm not buying this from her is that I can't use the straight dressage flap. This saddle has external knee rolls very nice and supportive. Monoflap saddle is very close contact and the twist is comfortable. Obviously the twist will be narrower the more narrow you have the saddle set, but even at this setting it is not a wide twist, imo. Look up the website to get more information on their very shoulder freeing tree design. Laserequestrian.com. My personal horse has never gone better ... morethan she has in this saddle, in fact, before riding her in this saddle, I was very much considering selling her. Now that I've tried the Laser tree I will at least try a few more models to see if it is across the board the most comfortable saddle I could find for my sensitive horse.
