This listing is for a Ruby laser assembly. These units were used in the M60 tank as rangefinders. Typical q-switched output power at 694nm is 50mJ. The Deep red portion of the visible spectrum. The reflector pictured is in excellent condition. It is a quirk with the camera showing it tarnished looking. The laser head consists of. HR prism, 1/4"X3" RUBY rod,EG&G FX-103C-3 flash-lamp, Elliptical reflection cavity.Steering prism,Rotating q-switch prism,Magnetic position sensor, Temperature monitor thermistor.Output coupler and the Collimation telescope. I have had many of these over the years and this one is in the best condition Ive seen yet. Very clean new like condition. Also included is the original PFN. The insulation has been removed and the capacitors have been replaced. Also included is a nice 115uF energy storage capacitor ... morerated at 2.3KV more than enough to power the flash. Original spec'd is 90uF 1200V. Also included is the mating connector for the 11 pin interface. I will include a wiring diagram and examples on how to hook this up. I have hooked this up with the components offered as pictured and the flash works flawlessly. The laser head is out of alignment and will need to be aligned by the new owner. Up for auction is a Cutera/ Altus Excel Cosmetic Nd/Yag Laser. The laser is in good working condition and is still at the Med-Spa location in metro Chicago. Up-graded to a newer system so we are selling this one. The Laser system was used for Veins and Laser Hair Removal. The Coolglide excel is a very good machine. Has been very reliable and maintained properly. We have several of these systems and we can not complain about performance. The handpiece is a variable focus type; 3mm, 5mm, 7mm and 10mm focal spot size. The system shows some wear, scratches on the surface. This is a USED tattoo removal laser. It does turn on but the screen and more importantly the buttons on the keypad went and I cant adjust nor turn on the laser apparatus. It has been tested with the following results: The YAG control unit powers on with no fault indications; All functions on the control console are available and responsive to keypad input. The laser fires and creates observable holes in test material. The optics are clear and bright at all magnifications. I don't have the key for the control console, but it is in the"on" position, so it is functional without the key. The Argon laser is ... morenot functional. The laser unit powers on. The fans start, and the power light comes on, but the display unit doesn't turn on. The power for the slit lamp on this system comes from the Argon laser, so the slit lamp does not have any illumination unless the Argon laser is functioning. FJW INFRARED VIEWER Up for bid is a used infrared viewer mfg. by FJW model# 84499A in good working condition. The housing has some scratches on it. This unit uses a type 6914 infrared image tube. The tube image is clear and has good IR sensitivity and low noise. This is a 1.2 um unit. But I have verified that it will see lower than spec as I can see a 1310 nm laser light spot(with reduced sensitivity past 1200 nm) Operates on one"C" cell battery. The last picture shows an infrared TV remote control looking through this viewer.
